Kwanza:
A Nigerian Army colonel, M.Z Manu, has been killed bandits in Unguwar Doka Village under Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

SaharaReporters gathered that the colonel and some soldiers, who were on routine patrol, ran into an ambush by the bandits, which led to his death.

Two other soldiers and some civilians were also killed by the gunmen.

A security source said the bandits, armed with AK-47 rifles, invaded the village on motorcycles before launching the deadly attack.

The killing of Manu happened five days after another, colonel, D.C. Bako, was killed in a Boko Haram ambush in Borno State.

Katsina State had in recent months been grappling with security challenges posed by kidnappers, bandits and rustlers.

So Government is still calling bokoharam terrorist bandits up till now!!!....
Anyway with the hatred in Oshopikin mind toward his APC backstabbers, let him go back to NLC to lead the strike like before, very sure fuel will become #30 per litre

Bandits are Fulani militants or Fulani jihadist herdsmen. They are under MiyettiAllah.

Nigeria have 2 of the world most terrorist groups.

Rip..

This is what happens when criminals are more agile and more fit than most of our soldiers.

There's no way he could have outrun or outmaneuvered the bandits.

Why should he run.. If he runs, waiting u wan make civilians do? They should endeavor to equip and prepare themselves for the worst every time or quit if they are not equipped.

Like he said they are in my cabinet, so that is why they will always use the terms 'bandit', yep because they are afraid of the person that be...

These bandits' killings are getting out of hand. You cannot kill a sergeant in USA army nor a member of IDF and go Scot free. Israel some years back release more than 1000 members of Hamas military wing held in their jail in exchange for an Israeli soldier (captain) in the custody of Hamas. God take some of us to another country.

it is not by slimness or fatness it's about being bold to fight and alert not to be catch unaware.
no matter the boldness and alertness that guy is too big to be a military man. In a society where things are done according to lay down rules and regulations that guy should have been discharged or left in the office.
