Anambra state is in ruin. That izuchukwu bus that had 3 dead passangers was conveying passengers from Mbaise to Lagos, instead of going straight to upper iweka thru owerri - onitsha road, had to divert to inside Obosi town in order to avoid big potholes toward end of owerri onitsha road. Assuming owerri onitsha road is good toward onitsha axis, these deads and casualties would have been averted.

May God grant their souls rest in peace and quick recovery to injured ones.

See your pastor for prayer or pray for yourself and ask God by yourself , who says there won’t be accidents on a journey sanctioned by a Pastor, know God for yourself and don’t let anyone seek God in your behalf at all times

Overspending kills. Too many reckless driving that gets out of control. Even the brakes will fail on overspeeding. Drive safely. No need to rush to anywhere if you wanna live long. Most of our roads are bad and narrow.

Accident that happens at every other places daily without making headlines, the one that happened in Anambra has become an item for media campaign of calumny against Anambra by the Igbo people.

If ikwere people can detach themselves from these hateful Igbo chimpanzees, I wonder why Anambra people would not engage in mass sensitization project to educate her Masses on the need to separate themselves from these hateful creatures before it is too late.

They call themselves Igbos, we say we're Anambrarians.
They call themselves biafrans, we say we are Anambra and their hate continues to multiply daily.

Poor Igbos from IMO and ENUGU continue their onslaught on Anambra image. But I keep asking, does it mean that Anambra citizens cannot defend their state both online and offline.

I know it is visible to anyone that visits nairaland, both yorubas and hausas that their is a campaign of calumny being propagated against Anambra on this forum, the same way they use guns to attack Anambra citizens anytime there is a security lapse in the state.

I have the following submissions to make for the governor and government of Anambra to consider if we think about the future of Anambra and the future of our children yet unborn.

1) Let the governor of Anambra as a matter of security importance reform the Anambra vigilante service and in remove every vigilante member of Igbo origin that is not from Anambra state.
Umahi of ebonyi has formed his own neighborhood watch by employing 50 citizens from every town in Ebonyi but in Anambra, anything goes, even citizens of sworn enemy states are recruited mainly into AVS to police Anambra.

2) Let the governor of Anambra, enforce laws banning Keke from all major roads in the state to save the lives of the citizens and improve sanity in the state. And instead introduce BRT buses in all busy places in Anambra eg Awada and nnewi to ease heavy traffic caused by too many Keke plying Anambra roads.

3) Let the Anambra government as a matter of urgency, regulate the citizens right of selling land in government reserved areas and as a result of this, the governor and the Igwes should map out areas covering not less than 80 percent of the land mass of every town in Anambra as government reserved areas for different purposes eg. future industrial layouts, markets, recreation centers, hospitals etc so as to stop miscreants HYPNOTIZED by traditional JUJU priests and priestesses from ENUGU state from selling the whole Land in Anambra to sworn enemies that will displace our children from our land in the future like they have done in OBA now.

We are indeed our own problem!
Instead of tasking the authorities to be bring up stiffer punishments for reckless drivers and also cautioning drivers to drive safely, one misguided and blindfolded folk is advising people to see their pastors before embarking on a journey forgetting that accidents happen even on a street!

Anambra has failed both the south and Nigeria as a whole and her motto should rather be reversed to "The darkness of the nation" sad

How does having accident on the highway now become a thing of the whole state.Cant you see that the roads are ok,, if the roads are bad that is where you will blame the govt.,if you don't have a reasonable think to comment, you keep mute.Is not compulsory to comment.
