The former Minister of State for health, and former INEC commissioner, Engr Fidelis Nwankwo, has urged Ndigbo to start lobbying the two major political parties in the country to enable them to secure a ticket for their candidates ahead of the 2023 Presidential election. Nwankwo made this known while speaking with some journalists in Abakaliki. The former Minister stated that Igbo should emulate what Yoruba’s did in 1998 when they picked Presidential ticket from the then major political parties, that resulted in their victory.
