The NAF depot maintenance activities continue unabated despite the Covid-19 crises. Thanks to these guys, to date, no mission requirements have been impacted, and aircraft are still being inducted into the depots.

The 631 Aircraft Maintainance Depot works on the C-130 Hercules transport plane. This facility is located adjacent to a secure area of the flightline.

The aircraft maintainance hanger is the biggest of its kind in Sub Sahara Africa.

The entrance of the facility is oriented towards the flight line to allow the crew and support staff to easily access the functional areas of the facility.

The design and fabricate rolling maintenance platforms is engineered to integrate perfectly with the C-130 Hercules transport plane. The maintenance platforms allow technicians to access any part of the aircraft from the exterior in order to perform routine upkeep and repairs.
