This day once told a story of freedom;
When an Eagle became free to soar the limitless sky
A sweet happy story that has become bitter for today to tell.
Now we tell this story wearing sadness on our faces

This is a story of a child born with greatness and potentials
In her sixtieth birthday , she’s still hidden in the body of a baby
Crawling with weak legs and bedwetting with smiles
Daily, she sits in her mess watching her peers attain lofty heights

This is a story of a beautiful gorgeous woman.
she lies stripped naked and raped in the market Square
While everyone watch with folded hands waiting to take their turn
Now she walks the street with shame hanging on her face.

This is a story that leaves us with no love, strength and faith
An ode that tells of the vain of our heroes Labour.
This story force sorrowful waters out of our eyes
And leave our divided voices asking for God’s Help
