If he had not attempted it in the hospital, I think it would not have been a case of police. If he died during the process the hospital will in problem and the family might say he was poisoned by hospital attendant.

N200,000 bail + hunger on top of suicide attempt? God have mercy on this country. Instead of you to pamper this guy with all he needs so he will go home and think of better things to do with his life, you arrested him. Under Naija laws attempting to commit suicide is a misdemeanor which attracts one year imprisonment but once the act is committed no punishment meted on the offender. Use ur head you cnt punish a dead man.

Also aiding a person to commit suicide is a feloneous offence liable to life imprisonment. Think twice b4 helping someone commit suicide.
