Why are you so pessimistic? At least let's try it before condemning it. You really do not expect a phone line dedicated to every street, do you? What is important is if they can coordinate the calls coming into their control room.

The point is that this same method had been tried before and it failed.

So, what's the point in trying again a proven failed method? How can you repeat the same thing and expect a different result?

And they rolled out numbers without telling which state a particular number covers. This means there is a chance of you calling a number from Lagos and someone in Delta State will pick it. Will you call that an effective management?

Rolling out numbers to call is not a new thing.

We have FCU numbers and other contacts yet the brutality continues.
This will only generate fuss for few days not even weeks and it will die down as usual.

Few days from now you will still see SARS on our streets extorting and harassing people.

when last did you call and get throu those #s. Same IGP roll out some #s when sars kill a promising footballer @ ogun state, promises all kinds of reforms. Notting happens. Sars are mordenised arm robbers and terrorist. However there are good ones, well mannered, culture and ethetical and level-headed. Often times not allowed to perform their duties by the bad eggs. IG should flush out those bad eggs, drunkers, thiefs, robbers.

inasmuch as those criminals called SARS is too much
banning them totally is not the solution.

rather they should release those numbers and instruct the public to call those lines if ever they see any of them on patrol or checkpoints.

remove their excesses
criminals and armed robbers dey fear those guys ehhh

Total BS

If SARS hurts someone you love, tail them home.

Find someone they love and give them a dose of their own potion.

Let the collateral damage be on both sides.

You can't be enjoying the warmth of a happy family while causing pains in other families.

Exactly my believe

Number that you will call, they might ask you to pay for data or airtime for them to allow them proceed with the complain.

Nothing good or positive comes from the Nigeria Police, is all bad...we need action not words. Find the bad eggs among you guys and punish them. Maybe then we can start believing just a lil.

when sars catch you them no go allow u to call anybody so this is not an option atall . The best thing is to form a mob and actively kill all SARS OPERATIVES on sight...this is an organized racket within the hierarchy of the Police.
