ONDO 2020: CONGRATULATIONS, YOU’VE GOT FEWER OPTIONS LEFT - PRP Candidate tells residents.

The Candidate of the People Redemption Party (PRP), Babatunde Alli had congratulated residents of Ondo State for having fewer Political Parties as options.

Babatunde who received with satisfaction, the news of adoption of the APC and the PDP by 12 Political parties, declared Sunshiners, home and abroad, as the ultimate beneficiaries of such political collaboration. “Our people can now differentiate between the Clowns and the Real”. He said.

It will be recalled that 12, out of the 17 Political Parties contesting election in Ondo State, on Monday, adopted the APC and the PDP as their platforms, but the PRP maintained its known stand in the politics of the Nation as the Political Party of the masses, “the voice of the voiceless”.

He was particularly hard on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for what he termed the “charade of shame” by their candidate, wondering how a political party can be adopting the PDP while the Candidate of the Party was at the same time, somewhere else, adopting the APC.

“They should have saved INEC, and by inference, the nation from unnecessary expenses by not fielding candidates in the first place. They only made the atmosphere temporarily confusing, but I’m glad Sunshiners can now see the option they are left with, the PRP”. Babatunde said. “Ever wondered why INEC feel obligated to deregister Political Parties?, this is one of the unwritten reasons” He added.

“In 1979, 4 other political parties (GNPP, NPP, NPN and UPN) contested election with the PRP but only our party remains till date and contesting in this election. We don’t need anybody to tell us that the old part, is the real part”. Babatunde further added.

He advised party members and the entire state to look beyond partisan politics and vote out the APC while ensuring that the PDP does not return to power, describing them as the 2 sides of the same coin.

Won o ni jewa m’aye o!, he, as a tradition concluded.
