On October 6 2018, the Governor of Minnesota Mark Dayton designated the day as ‘World Wizkid Day’ to commemorate the achievements of music superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun a.k.a Wizkid. He also became the first African artiste to sell out Skyway Theatre during the #MadeInLagos concert which was held in the state.
