Inec should remember US and UK warning and hear the voice of the masses. It is bad for our democracy if actually the returning officer is from same town with akeredolu. Though l am rooting for aketi to win. 21 Likes 2 Shares |

Prof Eyitope Ogungbenro Ogunbodede acting as Chief Returning Officer. He is a known crony of Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, candidate of the All Progressives Congress and hails from Owo, the same hometown as the candidate. He cannot be a fair party in the proceedings by virtue of their association. 39 Likes |

In the spirit of fair play, the Returning officer should not even come from Ondo state. The last time I checked we had many competent professors in Nigeria. So why picking a kinsman of one of the candidates as the Returning officer? This should not be too hard for INEC to understand... 42 Likes 1 Share |

Ayed44: Don't mind INEC. They made 2 steps forward in Edo. Now they want to make 5 steps backward in Ondo. Of all professors in Nigeria, it is the one from Owo that is most qualified. It's just like FIFA appointing an Algerian refree to take charge of the upcoming friendly between Nigeria and Algeria. Zombies will still cheer! 22 Likes 3 Shares |

Why would they appoint someone from the same place with a contestant to be a returning Officer. They should change him because I wouldn't want to hear PDP crying of rigging when Aketi wins. Aketi 4+4 is non negotiable. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Professor ogunbodede, my able vc that year. . Anytime I see him on campus, his big nose always cracks me up. Not to forget, his suit is always rumpled and folded at the back. But, on ondo election, I believe he has the credibility. 3 Likes |
