Rwandan President, Paul Kagame Appoints A 19-year-old Teenage Boy As A Minister.

Patrick Nkuriza 19, has been appointed a Minister of New Technologies and Development by Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda

As the saying goes; "Value does not wait for the number of years to come".

This saying fits perfectly with the fate of Patrick Nkuriza, a 19-year-old Rwandan, the youngest Minister of his Country's Cabinet.

Indeed, this little genius experienced a dramatic rise to the point of getting the baccalaureate at 14 and obtaining a PhD in Digital Communication Engineering afterwards.

Patrick is a real gifted person who has developed several applications that allows his country to perform activities in a lot of economic areas.

So it is commendable that he is appointed a Minister in his specialty but a Minister like no other, who lives with his parents and goes to work accompanied by his father in his escort car.

At home his mom washes his clothes and helps him dress.
His family refused him living in the house assigned to him as a Minister. Assuming Patrick is a Nigerian like Tolulope Oluwatoyin Arotile, he may b killed by 'his supposedly friend' who will reverse his car to greet him.
His bodyguards are always busy watching out for his safety when Patrick plays ball, his favorite sport with the neighborhood youths.

Everyone wants to touch him or take pictures with him.
Patrick didn't have a girlfriend and was always accompanied on his outings by his mother or father and bodyguards.

Merit Pays More Than Favouritism...The Rwandan President took note of that.

That boy is exemplary with all these states achievements

No wonder the country is moving forward. No discrimination on who can do the job

Here in Nigeria it is a certain LEKAN who got government attention for being part of a group of folks who model nudity, sexual immorality and everything against decency and our traditional normative values! Ogun State Governor Abiodun was a very big disappointment and he says he is a born again Christian!

Our 19 year old governor over here in Nigeria has been a flop....

Looks like the appointment is justified , talk about having the right person in the right position


Unlike here where all appointment is either paid with cash or sexual favors or even oil blocs

No doubt the region is moving forward. No prejudice on who can do the hiring

Grow up baby adult, when you discover yourself early you will get striking achievements . We have people who became millionaires in their teen (Michael Jackson, Farah Gray etc) Wake up the earlier the better. It not about Rwanda or Nigeria it about capacity to deliver

Don't be ridiculous. Rwanda is a small country with a population of 12 million.

Half the population of Lagos.

They can just about get away with hiring a 19 year old to manage a ministry..

....but 200 million strong Nigeria?

How the hell is a 19 year old kid supposed to manage all the conflicts, interests, disputes, complexities, rivalries, contradictions, temptations, and other challenges that come with handling a federal ministry?

Some of you are just allergic to reason.
