One peaceful protester has been confirmed dead in Ogbomoso. His name is Jimoh Isiaq of Ogiri Compound, Ita Alasa, Ogbomoso. They are protesting against police brutality and got killed by the police during the protest.



Jimoh Isiaq, was allegedly shot today by the police in during the protest.


A police team monitoring the protest was said to have used live rounds to disperse the teeming protesters during which the victim was hit.

Isiaq’s bloodied, motionless body was shown in several videos that trended on social media after the shooting.

He was rushed to Bowen University Teaching Hospital, where medical sources said bullets pierced his ribs, making it difficult to save him.


Ogbomoso residents were in tears this evening when they buried Jimoh Isiaq, # EndSARS campaigner shot dead by police officers deployed to quell today’s demonstration in the peaceful protest.

Meanwhile, a tweeter user @TheRockfada shared picture of the policeman that shot him.
