Femi Kuti, the eldest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti has expressed shock at the silence of the Federal Government concerning the heated #EndSARsNow protest going on in virtually every city in the country.

The ace Nigerian musician weighed on the ongoing protest in Nigeria as citizens charge the federal government to dissolve the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, (SARS), following their unwarranted attacks on the youth.

In his recent tweet, Femi Kuti expressed shock that no emergency meeting has been conducted at the top level of governance despite the massive #EndSARS protest in Lagos State and beyond.

He said that such a serious issue that has caused pain to the youths, masses, and majority of the Nigerian citizen, yet the presidency and senate have failed to take the matter seriously.

How can a rubber stamp Assembly have emergency meeting on what doesn't favour them. If na to share money or rubber stamp loans that include their share, the word "emergency" would even be an understatement....
