When that Nigerian was making a song about chopping peoples dollar everybody was dancing. Nobody was offended. Ted Cruz is an American senator that does not give two bleeps about Nigeria, the same attitude Nigerian politicians have about Nigeria. I hate the man but I hate Nigerian leaders more. |
why are nigerians in north america accomplished, while the ones at home are thieves? |
Has the efcc ever prosecuted and Nigerian politician? |
Really. Good to dream but dreaming is not enough. Policies have to be put into place to achieve that dream. You can't talk your way to being the best homie. |
joebeckz: Bro, Henry started an overtake before seein d luxurious bus. De both had no option cos de were close already. Overtaking at a bend is dangerous.Overtaking on a bend is stupid. Any good driver knows this. How can you overtake when you cant see what is in front of you? Common sense. |
Lilimax:Calling Nigeria great is such a cliche. There is nothing great about nigeria. |
I did sky diving once. I was attached to an instructor who was in control of everything. Its a great feeling, though scary. I never didi it again and didnt get my solo jump certification. |
FiFA 14 is a terrible game. I wish i never bought it. |
donroxy: I wish Nigerian President can authoritavely speak like Obama devoid of window-dressing and Political-Falsehood !!!Lol u you think Obama is devoid of political falsehood. |
The Kenyan forces look well equipped with the latest in small arms. I saw M4 carbines with acog scopes, beretta 9mm handguns, etc which are the standard issue of the US military. Very impressed with their response. Looks professional and well organized. Nigeria pay attention. This sort of attack can happen near you and the police would be useless. |
Bbm has not been released. Download malware at your own risk. |
One reason this war will happen. The Military Industrial Complex, which influences law makers and earns billions in wars. The people of America don't want it, we the members of the armed forces don't want. The media is portraying the rebels as freedom democracy fighters. That just makes me laugh. Anyhow, if I'm sent there I'll go. Lol. |
pastor4real: @emmatok: You are right about the infrastructures, accommodation and the purchasing power. You totally wrong about getting good accommodation for $500. In Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York; you will need at least $900 to rent 1bedroom flat to live in good location with rest of mind. You are right that u can get a used car for less than $1000, my friend that will be a good one, be ready to spend extra $1000 plus on the car. You cannot survive with $8/hr unless u want to rent a room from som1 who own a house, that will cost between $300 to $400 a month. So being able to get a loan to go to a prestigious school is a bad thing? Is it better to have all the brains in the world, yet because you parents are poor you cant go to university in nigeria? There thousands of state colleges that cost less than $1500 a semester. |
Godogwu: fact is that the person in Nigeria earning $2000 a month is living way better than his/her counterpart in the US.....Im pretty sure the person in Nigeria earning $2k a month has an education and the american does not. What is a better life to you? |
jossypajay: I prefer to stay in Nigeria no matter what. No place like homeI agree. My new home is woodbury Nj. |
Allen kee: WAS AMERICA DEVELOPED AS NIGERIA AT 53?dont come with this bullshit. Nigeria is not even in the process of developing. How can a country that rewards thieves ever progress? |
Wont auto insurance cover most of the cost? |
The coup is coming. The coup that will round up our leaders dating back 20 plus years, try them and execute them and seize all their assets, including the ones passed down to their children. Without this Nigeria can Never progress. A society that rewards dishonesty can never progress. Pure fact. |
How are they Nigerians. They were not born in nigeria, or lived in nigeria. Their parents are nigerian and not them. Is the NBA player Emeka Okafor a nigerian too? I have cousins born in the US with yoruba names who have never been to nigeria and dont identify as nigerian. |
Typical empty chested boasting! Deport him back to his village if he can not function among normal, developed human beings!
He is a US citizen. |
State of origin? A nigerian is a nigerian and should be able to choose where he wants to reside. This country will never progress with these ethnic, tribal divisional attitudes. |
Genius100: Please tell him not to waste his time designing things that have already been perfected in the western world. He needs to focus on inventions that can be used to solve local Nigerian problems. If he comes up with such an invention, he won't need to ask for donations. If he comes up with an invention that can automatically peel cassava etc, he will be patronized..Thats my point. A prototype of an existing device is useless. |
Engineering students for mouth na, engineering students who can't think outside the box. Nigeria churns out thousands of engineers annually, yet not even 1% can pull their brains together and design something useful, at least a good prototype. Abegi go and and sit down jor... engineer for mouth and certificate. If Nigeria is to develop by your standard of Nigerian engineers (who are dormant and only argue on theories), then Nigeria is on a long thing.
So tell what this kid has done that is amazing you so much, that you want people to invest in. He has built a toy and nothing more. Be able to do this does not correlate to greatness. |
Enough with the "go to school" thing. If that boy can electronically control that device then i can assure you he knows way more than 95% of our engineering graduates. Wetin una think say them dey teach for our schools? Stupid baseless theories and bribe demanding old crooks we call lecturers. hisssssssss....
You are a fool to compare this kid to engineering graduates. Assembling a toy together does not equal engineering. |
FlamingGun: What's a prototype?I agree with you bro. The kid has built a toy that you can build by downloading a guide of the internet. A remote control cat being built by a teenager is not amazing at all. I bet you the moment a Nigeria creates a unique product, he will get support. Bulldozers already exist so how is this a prototype? And to the clown that compared this to Henry ford, put a Mossberg in your mouth and pull the trigger. |
Vehicles that can move on land and water already exist. The only innovation here seems to be locally built. These sort of vehicles already exist on the west and are a niche products for those that can afford them. They solve no transportation issues and a more for recreation. I do not see any investment opportunity here at all. |
Good kid. To be honest, all he built was a toy and not a prototype. I applaud the young man's creativity, maybe there is a market for Nigerian built mechanical toys. Who knows. |
KDULAR: This is good , if you don't respect yours, nobody will. The British Govt in 2009 spent about 40 million pound sterling on their royals and budgeted to spend about 33 million pounds this year alone. I don't think the Queeen does much work in the Govt. While I'm against the royal family I will say that the British totals are a tourism industry on their own. They bring in visitors from all over the world. In Nigeria it's nothing more than a bribe. Also, Nigeria is a poor country that relies a lot on foreign aid. |
Nigeria, the joke of Africa. |
I used to drive a fuel tanker for the US army, full of aviation fuel. There were so many precautions to be taken. When transferring fuel from one tanker to another a lot of static electricity builds up. Both tankers must be properly grounded to the earth and bonded to each other to avoid an explosion. Also there should be no smoking, building or unauthorized personnel within 50ft. All persons should wear fire resistant clothing, and cellphones were not allowed. I even drove over 5000 miles in Iraq without issues. There needs to be better safety standards. I've seen tankers offloading in the middle of a crowded market in Lagos. If these habits don't change there will be more disasters like this. |
Good for him, but it's not going anywhere. |
I'm into rc aircraft too. I do not build I buy. I have a uh-60 Blackhawk helicopter based on a wakera 300 helicopter. The cost was around 250 dollars and I can fly it for 20 minutes on a full charge. I'm about to install a hd camera on it as well. I doubt the op built his aircraft at all. Those are very big and expensive and challenging to build. The costs could easily enter 1000 dollars as they will require gas engines and not batteries. |
These people should stop giving us a bad name abroad.
