One big issue is Nigerian drivers have zero respect for pedestrians. In other countries, drivers are very wary of pedestrians and do their best to avoid them because they know the consequences if they hit them. In Nigeria, there are no consequences. How will the police find a hit and run driver? Human life in Nigeria carries no value, seeing a dead body on the roadside does not shock people as they are used to it. What do you expect in a barbaric society that burns people alive. Op you concerns are valid, but I'm afraid nothing cam be done unless the whole attitude of Nigerians change.

I find it disturbing that a state govenor has the power to donate tax payers funds to people.

This is typical buffoonery by nigerian officials. How do decide what luggage is what? There should be a set standard of rules, that is clearly defined and known to the passenger. The irony is amazing. A minister in a country that deports its citizen from one region to the other, is upset at a foreign country placing a bond on its citizen that are historically known to be economic migrants. The same minister has no issues with citizens being deported within their own country. He is a fool.

Most especially when the SA government slammed the British Govt and withdrew the proposal to invest up to £10bn into UK. The same sound bite is coming out of India and other nations, I believe the move have been quashed

The immigration reform will not pass in the USA. It's ridiculous. There are no jobs as it is. I support a path to citizenship for those that have spent at least 5 years living in the US, not those that have recently come in. Either way republicans will never let it pass. There has to be a limit to immigration, that's just common sense.

This will keep on happening as long as the KILLERS who can be seen on video are not arrested, charged and executed for the public to see. Only a criminal will participate in such. Nigeria has to be the most disgusting, sickening place to be. Pure evil savages are everywhere, and because there is a lack of rule of law they act with impunity.

As someone who has served in Afghanistan I can sympathize with these soldiers. Going after the enemy on unfamiliar and rugged territory is no easy task. Trekking through the mountains and hills of Afghanistan is hell i tell you. Our armored vehicles are useless in such places. Taliban fighters know this and they will draw you into the valleys and lay an ambush. Blackhawk helicopters, and kiowas would have been perfect for this operation. Im not sure if the nigerian army has these. If the nigerian government could reach out to us we can train the nigerian army to accomplish this mission.
