Kingdemi212019:
Q: What are the chances of a man being infected after condomless sex with a woman who has HIV?
In general, the risk of a man getting HIV from an HIV-positive woman during vaginal intercourse in the United States is low--probably less than 1 of 1,000 exposures will result in actual infection. This risk may be higher depending on certain factors, such as whether the woman is having her period or whether the man is uncircumcised, and it also may be higher in poor countries. It is very low if the woman is taking effective HIV medications and/or if you are taking PrEP (a daily pill to prevent HIV).
Of course, there is no risk of getting HIV from a woman unless she has HIV, so it's good to talk about this with any potential sex partner. After all, she may have the same thoughts or concerns about whether YOU have HIV, but also might not bring up the subject. And since it's often hard to be sure, especially if you don't know someone very well, remember that using a condom can greatly reduce the risk of spreading or getting HIV and other diseases, can prevent unintended pregnancy and can be a good way to show that you care about your partner.

The probability of a man contacting HIV from a condomless viginal sex with a HIV positive woman is very very high. But if the woman has been on effective medication for at least one month after the discovery of her status, then the risk is so low. so it depends on if the HIV positive partner is aware of his/her positive status and had commenced treatment for at least a month before risk of infection can be classified as being so low

The first person in that video is Dr Kary Mulis. He is the inventor of the testing criteria(RT PCR) used for corona viruses testing and HIV a times.

So, you're just regurgitating his point of view then.
Interesting how you'll ignore the overwhelming evidence that proves the causality of AIDS to focus on the one voice who says otherwise. Well done to you

Watch the video my brother. The first person being interviewed is Dr Kary Mulis. HE INVENTED THE TESTING CRITERIA(RT PCR).

I think he knows a thing or two on the subject matter.

This is one of a thousand research papers on the subject.

Sometimes you need to research the things you hear on the Internet.

My brother. lol.

He is the inventor of the testing criteria for corona virus and HIV.

So it is ok for us to ignore his opinions on the subject matter but we can use his PCR test method for testing for corona virus and HIV?

he is not the only one with this opinion by the way.

HIV is not that easy to contract and alot of people use protection, especially sex workers. I believe it's one reason why the figure it not higher given how reckless we are.

Explain this then.

Dont be offended my brother with my line of thought/ it is not a baseless argument.

We learn everyday. My point is if some could have AIDs without HIV, if the medical world have differing opinions on issues as fundamental as this, then we can always have an open mind and question things.
Especially on issues like covid19. to carefully see if everything said about it is through.

I respect your opinions. God bless you. Ciao

It took me 5 minutes to get this https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14987889/

Like I said earlier would you be willing to inject yourself with the blood of a HIV positive person to witness the effects personally? You don't have to take any medication or really do anything, just live your life like you normally would since HIV is a "harmless passenger virus".

If you truly believe these men are saying the truth then you should be able to bet your life on it just like you are asking others reading the exchange to do by disregarding prior medical advice.

Gosh. I almost fainted. At first glance, I thought it was 13 out of 100. Anyway, HIV is no longer a death sentence. You can be Poz, healthy, get married, stay happy and live a long healthy life. We move.

Its more than a death sentence...

One thing I sincerely belive is that we Africans, especially Nigeria have continued to enslave ourselves in the paths of shame, self disgrace and utter stupidity.... From the above quoted percentage or rather, the ratio so given, it means that a larger percentage of the populace is sick with HIV/AIDS. How true is that when you people continue to manipulate, pad up figures and send to CDC just because you want funders and international donors to keep rolling in the cash. You declare your people sick, thereby reducing our values on the international stage all because of money.. The statistics so churned out, how did you arrive at it. Is it that positive individuals are no longer attaining viral suppression, or blacks have become drug resistant? Prostitutes no longer allow sex without condoms,so how come your baseless statistical assertions?? Nigeria no go better again ooo. If at all, e go take time.....
