That is possible. But if they do they better just shut it down permanently, otherwise the moment they switch it back on it will be a hundred times worse for them. Besides the only thing keeping most Nigerians indoors right now is internet, once that is taken away the government will know the true meaning of street protests.

If the FG shuts down the internet, the leaders of the protest who have controlled the protesters and kept them peaceful will no longer have leverage over the protesters and that means 'Chaos'.. The protest will then spiral out of control and become more bloody.

There have been countless revolutional protests in this country before the advent of internet. Aba women riots, Wetie-wetie etc didn't happen during social media days.

I doubt.

Military would rather be deployed on street to avoid any further protest

They would soon shut down ATM POS and power too...this is an orchestrated plan by an external power. No police but 24 hour surveillance via 5G

They want to use breakdown of order to usher you into their slavery NWO.
Where cash is replaced by digital currency and wallets by microchip.

Wizkid, Burna boy , Davido even cuppy are all aware... they're playing you. They're the Ambassadors of NWO

Guess this will lead to more worst consequences. The net is the only means of communicating so it will be grossly irresponsible of the government of the day to extend their tyranny there.

IT'S OKAY

Maybe it's government way of supporting the protest. It will definitely have economic impact, even small and multinationals companies will be affected.

Shut down the internet in the whole country?
IMPOSSIBLE
Aside the govt losing revenue from transfer stamp duty,
Many companies will lose billions and some will go into extinction.
The country will automatically stop progressing.
