O nweghi onye anaghi aro nro, ma nwata ma okenye, ma nwoke ma nwanyi (there is no one who does not dream, either a child or adult, man or woman). O nweghikwanu onye ga-asi na ya arobeghi nro (no one can claim not to have dreamt before).

In Igbo culture unpleasant dreams signifies bad omen and a hindrance. Such dreams brings unhappiness, panic, confusion and fear of the future. As a result, one strives to erace this sort of dream from his system. This may be via prayers or some other means.
NDIGBO and lovers of Igbo Culture, HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH BAD DREAMS?.
