The Nigerian political class has been advised to immediately convoke a national dialogue to address the current logjam occasioned by the #EndSARS nationwide protests.

The Reset Nigeria Movement said there was need for the Presidency, Governors and lawmakers to open transparent channels of communication with the demonstrators nationwide.

Speaking through its convener Osaro Onaiwu, the group said the political class being the representative of the people cannot look on or shy away from its responsibility of engaging the people when the fabric of our nationhood is being threatened.

The group advised state governors to set up live broadcasts in their respective states to address citizens and fashion out ways to resolve the peculiar agitation of protesters in each state.

The group warned that the #EndSARS protests have gone beyond issues of police recklessness alone and demonstrators have seized the moment to vent their frustrations about bad governance. It said the leaders must save our democracy now.
