State Police under the control of the Chief Justice... Governors are too partisan many of them are most likely to misuse the police if placed under their control. |

blacknp: That's true, they call the North Unity Beggars, when in actual sense they are the real unity beggars. They're trying hard to coopt the Niger-Delta and States like Benue into their fictitious Biafra Republic, because of their resources and fertile lands, respectively. Their target is one, to colonize those people and dominate their resources, simple. |

orimidara1:What kind of good idea? After using federal money to build railway for Yoruba and Hausa people, now they want to hand it over to them on a platter, and expect us all to pay the bogus Chinese loans used to build them? Wicked people. It will never be well with buhari and those who voted him in |

datola: You are on point, let put pressure on our reps, they are suppose to be the people's voice. The powers of the FG should be unboundle to allow for efficiency. Nigeria need only one parliament. Most of the national issues we have right now is due to excessive power of the central government. 1 Like |

A serious government will only be in charge of Military, Immigration and foreign Affairs and leave other critical sector to the hands of Private sector and see the magic that will happen in ten years time............ And there should be check on Minimum and Maximum wage....life no balance for this Nigeria at all, imagining someone earning 3m to 30thousand, even if you like get Degree from another planet and not PHD, the gap must not be much...... |

The truth of the matter is that Government can't provide job for everybody .even in the developed countries ,only a minor percentage is employed by Government.in Nigeria ,we want government to provide job,.I think the government ought to provide favourable ground for private investors ,people shud be encouraged to provide and create jobs ,the government need to provide a corrupt free atmosphere and our country need to be peaceful to attract foreign investors to create jobs.our people also need reformation ,so as everyone is calling for reformation,we also need to reform ourself ,people ought to fish out people who engage in dubious lifestyle like yahoo ,yahoo .expose bad politicians, expose yahoo boys ,expose thieves in the neighbour hood. blackpanda: |

Well, that's true, but that will force those States to unearth their potentials. Most Northern States are sitting on solid minerals but the current system we are operating has made them not to explore the resources. They just wait for monthly allocations from Abuja. |

datola:The majority of assembly members are northerners who would not support the total restructuring because they are enjoying free oil money to the detriment of the minority who owns the oil The way forward is to take cue from the Libya movement, the Ghana revolution, keep protesting and call the attention of the UN Why should we continue in this fashion and expect Nigeria to develop. Restructure now, stop the drilling of oil from our land, let everyone focus on other means of livelihood 1 Like |

donestk: We have many high standard universities in Nigeria. Why would the children of politicians be allowed to go school abroad ? There are certain rules we need to introduce. If you must hold a political office, your children must attend school in Nigeria and you must be Nigerian in all you do. |
