Untold Story About Osun Protest Fall Out

Al ot of news report have being going round the social media about the cause of the fallout of Peaceful Demonstration Protest in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun.

Youth of Osogbo, Osun State joined the peaceful demonstration protest about the brutality and extra judicial killing of Special Anti Robbery Squad Unit of Nigeria Police Force, which is  established to focus on robbery but later turn to a unit of extorting youth o their hard earned income and killing and the Government is silence about it, it could be recall that the demonstration started October 8th, 2020 at Lagos and Abuja and it has spread to some state also in Nigeria.

The Peaceful Protest has been going well until the arrival of the State Governor in the evening, H.E Gboyega Oyetola. His Excellence arrive the peaceful demonstration in the evening to address the state youth, while addressing the youth in which some describe as not the best approach to address them led to grumble and murmuring, which cause a chaos from the audience. In a bid to rescue the situation convoy of His Excellence, Gboyegola gunned down two protester and this led to unrest mayhem in the venue of the protest.

According to report gathered by Team Infonet"H E Governor Oyetola made efforts to speak to the agitated youths on the subject of the very struggle he had come out to show support and solidarity, but the energy and rowdiness were perhaps too strong for him to handle, as all efforts to address the protesters proved abortive."

"Amidst this frustration, it was reported that some hyperactive persons among the protesters began hurling street slangs that didn't find good countenance with the governor. This reached a critical stage when the governor was asked to "soro soke, werey" and he made to leave the protesters alone, visibly riled up."

I do not support violence from any party. The protesters should not be goaded by anybody into turning violent. Authentic news reported that it was hoodlums who attacked the governor in an assasination attempt and not the protesters as the poster wants to portray it.
