On saturday 17th October, videos of a stabbed Onome Anthony, a peaceful protester in Kubwa Abuja was all over the internet. He did not survive it.
One very painful thing about this is that these thugs are sponsored not because the demands of protesters are not genuine but because some people are scared that it threatens the office of the president.

Bashir El-rufai in his tweet made it clear that nothing will remove the president. Is this protest about removing the president or correcting the institutional challenges facing Nigeria. It will cost the president nothing to sack, parade and prosecute defaulting SARS OC's like Mr Nwafor. It will cost the president nothing to suspend or sack the IG of police to save his people.

The right thing should be done and no region should be used against other Nigerians. The demands are genuine and it is important for the government to take action.

Life for hausa sorry to say means nothing, but power means a lot to them that's why there must be separation. When we see a threat to our life they see opportunity.
