I like Tinubu's approach. In this same spirit. I hereby beg Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu to hands of the affairs of Lagos State.

You can't be part of the problem and still be offering solutions. Endsars stands for a lot of other things. End bad governance, end godfatherism, end corruption.

This government of a few, by a few will only lead to one end.

we have weighed all our leaders and found them unworthy of the lofty positions they occupy.

Get your pvc and make a wise choice in the next election.

Who are you, who is this old man telling us what to do. All these old analog men in Nigeria politics are part of the problems we have in this country today.

Give this man a computer & tell him restore a deleted folder . But to dictate for the masses is not a problem for him.

Abeg get out of here and give the youths chance to take over you 85years old Stone caveman

Anybody that still thinks these protests is still about end sarz is as blind as Buhari. The protest is now all about bringing bad governance to an end.
And that is by civil disobedience?
What happens to d voters card?
Election time ask them to vote, they'll all stay indoors and later complain of ineptitude leaders.
So who has d greater blame?

We voted! Some of Those protesting even voted in this government, but we've all realised that they are failing without any hope of getting things better. We voted for a government doesn't mean we shouldn't speak against that government.

Well said. The protest to end sars and police brutality is legitimate. No right thinking person will speak against the protest. However, now that government has agreed to the demands of the protesters, it’s time to halt the protest and allow government implement all the demands.

Continuing with the protest in the manner we have seen in the last few days would only lead to more violence, looting, extortion etc. This is the time for the protest to become strategic. Engagement and monitoring should be the next stage. The street protest has achieved its aim already, it’s time to call it off.

Again, the protest should never ever toy with the idea of a regime change; it will end in disaster if they go that route. Any attempt to forcefully overthrow a democratically elected government will ruin all the gains of the protest. I urge all those pushing the evil agenda of regime change to take a look at the outcome of similar adventure in Libya and Syria. We won’t allow Nigeria to go in that direction.

'Halt protests and allow...'

Just like the man in question. ARE THE PROTESTS STOPPING THE AUTHORITIES FROM ACTING AND IMPLEMENTING DEMANDS or are the protesters occupying government offices too. If during the Covid total lockdown government was up and running I cannot see how these sporadic actions affect whatever business they have to do.

The angst is just a desire to return to business as usual. No ideas, no solutions to any national challenges. Leadership bereft of vision. Just same ol same ol. Halt the protests today and they will all sigh in relief and return to kickstart their failed system. After all it has been serving them well for 60 odd years.

Is that what u call 'voting', where less than 15% voted in a country of 200million?
If the masses had used half of this same energy in voting in the right leadership across board, perhaps we won't be in this quagmire.

Moreover, 'speaking against govt' is good but when it has turned to anarchy, then thats a different ball game together!

Instead of playing into the hands of 5th columnists who have bn chanting the disintegration of the 'zoo' ds past 5 yrs, they shd mobilize themselves against 2023 by ensuring that they not only vote, but vote in d right leaders!
cool

That's exactly what I have been telling others. With the kind of momentum this protest has garnered, a political party can be formed and used to push the preferred candidates of the youths in the coming 2023 election.

What about you? What have you done for Nigeria to move forward? Do you think you don’t have a role to play? Tinubu has done tremendously well in the growth and development of this country and I can enumerate it for you:
1. He has brought the best brains in government over the years.
2. He opened the governors eyes on IGR when they were solely depending on allocation.........I can go on and on.
Imagine that he becomes the president, I can tell you that he will pick the best brains we have to work with.

Before the Miyetti Allah press statement of yesterday, a certain Prof. Alex Adebisi of the University of Ibadan accused Tinubu of sponsoring the protest. Miyetti Allah simply repeated Adebisi’s accusation.

The man is unknown and does not represent any political, cultural or professional group. The platform he used is also unknown, he is only being used.
He also mentioned Oluomo which showed he is very incoherent and unstable. The Miyetti Allah statement is the real message, they just used the man as an alternative to MURIC.

The current happenings is the legacy of this same Tinubu. under Buba Marwa, thugs/NURTW/area boys were cleared off the road and given jobs in infrastructure projects plus more.

Tinubu came in and effectively reopened pandora's box in order to be have access to cheap foot soldiers during elections while giving them free rein to tax Lagosians once elections were done. Mcoluomo now owns a gigantic hotel from funds extorted from Nigerians.

All thugs disrupting the protests so far have been found to have been paid to disrupt the protests and its quite unfortunate!
