US Based Nigerian Celebrities Fired up #END SARS protest in Washington DC

As the global Campaign against the operations of Special Anti-Robbery Squad-SARS intensifies, MC Chaz, a popular US based Nigerian MC entertainer, and Dr. Ikenna Ihim a US based doctor and Nigerian celebrity, both posted on their social media platforms that they would be present and encouraged others to join them on Sunday, 12pm EST, October 18 2020 at the Nigerian embassy in Washington DC. Hosted by @Rarolaetv.

On his Instagram platform, Mc Chaz stated “This is how it’s going down. The way I see Nigeria, these protests would be going on for a full year, A lot of things we have to END. If you’re my friend and want to show me, meet me on Sunday 12pm. All countries welcomed.” MC Chaz is not only popular for his entertainment, but also for his humanitarian comments. He made several viral commentaries to sooth the heart of Nigerians during the time of the South African xenophobia of Nigerians controversy.

On Dr. Ikenna Ihim’s Instagram, he noted that the brutality, assaults and criminalities by operatives of the Special Anti-robbery Squad was indeed worrisome. He stressed that the continuous brutality has birthed wide complaints and was amongst the basic reasons why he has decided to join the protest. He calls on the reform and restructuring of the Nigerian Police, especially it’s tactical units so as to ensure that federal government reacts adequately to the situation.

He however confirmed that unlike every other protest and ongoing campaigns against the brutality of SARS, his devotion and commitment to the #ENDSARS protest would not be compromised until the issue is addressed considerably. Dr. Ikenna Ihim therefore called on FG to consider restructuring of the Nigeria Police Force, so as to enable citizen’s confidence in the law enforcement agency.

Besides treating critical patients with COVID-19, Dr. Ikenna Ihim has also been on the frontline of several nationwide and global humanitarian interventions, including the Bill Gates and Melinda Gates COVID-19 pandemic Frontline Heroes initiative. He has also been engaged in actively hosting informative discussions and educating the public on development pathways for healthy living.

"Miyetti Allah has described the #EndSARS protests as part of a plot by some Southern Politicians to overthrow President Muhammadu Buhari"

Miyetti Allah's submission may be true since the protest was engineered in Lagos State so they can say it's made in Lagos or Tinubu sponsored.

But I want to put it to Miyetti Allah and the North that Nigerians are tired of mediocrity and the North pride in PMB is the highest form of mediocrity in the history of Nigeria. The North has never produce such a mediocre president his first coming was better. If every second coming should be like this christians will never pray for Jesus to come again that's how bad it is.

The impunity, corruption and incompetency of this government is the worse in recent times and when you engage top leaders from the North they don't hide their pain about the hardship this government has brought.

Miyetti Allah is scared because they see a revolution in the making and when it peak the only reasonable thing for any government to do is to resign.

The day the PEOPLE realise that if they are in large unified numbers they can demand anything from their GOVERNMENT. Is the day the GOVERNMENT is in big trouble.
That is why they keep the PEOPLE divided........... George Orwell
