Nigeria is in a crisis situation with civil unrest everywhere, some might say it's on the brink of another civil war but that's not the main issue.

With the recent attacks on police stations and escape of prisoners the military would try as much as possible to ensure the personnel in the barracks and more importantly their weapons are kept safe. You don't need to imagine what would happen if a group of miscreants or terrorists got access to a Nigerian bomber or accidentally set the weapons off.

See if you look through my profile you will know I'm not a fan of the military but this isn't a case of abuse of power or taking up other unwarranted duties so let's not be finding fault where there is none.

Airport yesterday by leoacefuk #EndSARS protesters, the government has stationed the army at key strategic points leading to the airport.
