Am surprized that even so called educated elites and educated people are taking the issue lightly. Knowing fully well the reasons behind the curfew.People in defiance of the curfew still converged in lekki and other places to protest and cause mayhem after the curfew was issued.Other states have since declared same ,states like Edo with the related incidents of criminality that occured in Lagos. So i wonder why there is a hue and cry over govt action in that regard. No govt in the world would tolerate such spate of criminality going on in the guise of protests.Even in the most democratic nation of the world the POTUS Trump had to call in the US Military and all federal agents to border patrol, customs and secret service agents to restore order on the streets when the protest against same police brutality was apparently going out of hand.Am also surprized that educate people can be murshroomed to believe the UN would intervene after 31 days.Even with the elementary government of my secondary schools days that is impossible. We are deceiving ourselves here in Nigeria with all these conspiracy theories citing different parts of the world were protest lead to revolution this and that. The protesters did not block passage of innocent people, there was a particular clip of people protesting and making way for emergency vehicles, the protesters did not start partying and cooking on the roads, they did not start burning police stations, they did not break jails are free harded criminals back to the society and all sorts of nonsence going on in the guise of agitations.Sadly the purpose of the so called protests have been clearly defeated. As the govt would have to employ high handleness to restore law and order as we saw in Lekki. The govt has all right to employ it full weight on any citizien that refuses to obey the curfew. You can see in Egypt ENDSARS protesters were arrested, the govt has its own laws there concerning protests. they are not to be taken for granted. These so called ENDSARS leaders have since melted into the thin air leaving a trail of destruction. What they started that did not end well. For now based on the criminality that unfolded and curfew issued we just have to stand back and obey the govt ,so sanity can be restored. With the criminal released back to the society the likes of these that raped and killed Uwa the situation is dicey. As it would take another concerted effort to recapture them back.IF there is no police (good or bad) on ground in any society great anarchy would reign time in Brazil when the police went on strike. The crime rate soared to unprecedented heights ever imagined. For the first time ever the govt took proactive action to disband the unit. It was created then to respond to violent crimes mostly arm robbery that sprung up which conventional police could not hand. it was the same Nigerians to rose up with the upsurge in armed robbery. the Unit performed well initially but later became rogue. With the govt banning SARS based on the level of protests. The so called protesters still continued foolishly to protesting and that was then all hell broke loose. And now resulted to this. All these that were killed died in vain that is Nigeria for you. it is in the holy scriptures that a little rat alive has far more value than a mighty dead Lion.Let us give the government a chance and see what would come out of their pledge. We would have all might and cause to justify propounded action if nothing tangible happens. The Nigerian Police sure have learnt some great lessons they can never forget and never would have imagined that their deeds be given so much attention. God bless Nigeria.Go On With One Nigeriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Curfew 9pm, massacre 7pm. Do you think it is appropriate to use live ammunition on protesters because of curfew in the dark?

[/s] You're talking complete nonsense. This country lost my last respect last night! No country has ever fought its own citizens with the military and won. You see those protests? They will intensify worldwide!
