From several videos on the net depicting burning and trashing of police stations in Lagos, Benin, Abia and Rivers, there is no way the NPF can make a comeback to those states.

The mob has totally demystified the men in black. How they can ever get the "fear" they wielded on the populace again?

This is the beginning of the end of the centralized Nigerian Police Force. Even the khaki boys are now backing down not only from the international backlash that followed the Lekki massacre but also from the raw anger from the masses. The khaki boys are watching closely how the "bloody civilians" overran police stations , lynched policemen, cartered away guns and burnt it down. The mob is getting more emboldened by the day and it will take another misguided order to engage civilians with brute force before the masses will take the fight to the barracks. It will be bloody. But with the level of anger and frustration among the people , their fanatical zeal to write off all wrongs will see them prevail.

The total disregard of the cries and pleas of the people on the ears of the FG to reform the police and other security agents fell on deaf ears and so they came out to protest peacefully and what did the govt do? Send their uniformed thugs to shoot and kill them after employing thugs to discredit the peaceful protesters. Now it has backfired ....badly!

As things stand now, the FG has no other choice than to reform the police to the aspirations of the people. Also, the deployment of the military within any state in Nigeria should not be by the sole discretion of the President but laws must be passed that provide for a request by the sitting governor for troops to be deployed. So that what we have now with fingers falsely being pointed at Sanuolu will not arise .

In summary, if they are not more incredibly stupid than I thought, the FG has no choice than to look at police reforns which inevitably will include total restructuring of the polity.

Rightfully stated.

However,

President can't move the military in MACA without NASS approval.

But once the president have the NASS leadership in his pocket, he can do anything.

Be deceiving yourself. What's demystified can never be mystified.

It should first be at the request of the governor and ratified by an extraordinary assembly of the Senate .

The Nigerian Army is the only army in the world that is deployed in virtually every nook within their borders in active roles .

How can you even rationalize the fact that the Air Force has never engaged an external threat in their entire existence but keep dropping bombs within their borders on their own citizenry?

Buhari has also really messed up the internal security of this country by allowing fulani criminals and terrorists to settle and operate unhindered. Now we have a situation were the hands of the security agents are tied when dealing with a real invasive force because Buhari has ordered them to not touch his ethnic militia.

I thank God for what is happening in Lagos and the South as the people are now telling Buhari that his uthman don fodio ambitions are dead on arrival. The mob riots and targeting of the police is telling Buhari a big "fck you" and if he dares send his militia as backup the people will stand and fight.

As things are now, Buhari should start making arrangements to any of his preferred Sahelian state to go on permanent exile alongside his marauding fulani orcs.

Do you enjoy police brutality?

Do you enjoy the indiscriminate arrest of Nigerians by police who then insist that a bail of N5k or 10K or N20k must be paid before release that ought to be automatic if there is no case to be pursued?

Do you enjoy the needless harassment of law abiding citizens by our security forces?

Do you consider yourself a bloody civilian who must frog jump because a mere military cadet wills it so?

But ending it was never the solution. When one understand the fact that absolute power corrupt, you will understand when you bring in a Pope to be a police, he will act like the Nigeria police.

The problem of the Nigeria police force is check and balances. That's what the Protesters should have fought for and it didn't require them to be lawless in their request. It didn't require them to be senseless in their demand. It didn't require them to put us all at risk.
