The girl who went home but didn't go home

Nada's school had just finished exams and her family was expecting her home soon. A day later, Nada arrived home and everyone was happy to see her and no one noticed anything strange from her. A week later Nada told her mother she was going out for an errand, an hour later, Nada came home with boxes and happily hugged everyone at home.

'I am so happy to be back home with you guys' Nada said in joy hugging her mother.

'What do you mean? But you only went out for an hour'. Nada's mother was confused and so was everyone else including Nada.

'You are joking right?' Nada quirked an eyebrow at her mother.

'No, you came back a week ago, you just went out for an hour and now you are acting like you haven't seen us for a long time' Nada's brother said.

'W-what do you mean I came home a week ago? I stayed an extra week at school and I couldn't contact your phones because it kept saying switched off'

'no you just went out!' her brother started to argue but his mother cut him off.

'If you were at school that whole time, then who did we just spend a whole week with?' Her mother asked as every one looked at the door which had not the answer to their mystery.

Is Nada playing a joke on her family, or was someone OR something there?!
