The vandalization of the palace of Oba of Lagos and the display of the staff of office in the market place has been termed as ridicule and disgrace to the entire Yoruba race by some indigene of the state stating that a sacred place and custodian of the Yoruba heritage has been turned into a laughing stock.

While the call for a complete change of attitude and approach of leaders is necessary, some said that the extend that an heritage of a Yoruba race will now be turned into a laughing stock is a shame to the entire Yoruba race.
