That was highly insensitive. He ahud have said hes carrying out investigations on what happened atleast so people know he’s aware and not docile. It is highly unacceptable and there is no excuse.

It was presumptuous and premature to at least give condolence to those who lost their lives because investigation was going on, but the investigation on the looting of the palace of oba of Lagos has already been concluded, that's why it was mentioned. That Femi Adesina guy is a curse to the Yoruba tribe in Buhari's government

They all wanted buhari to respond based on the reckless videos making rounds claiming 100s of people died in the massacre.
A massacre happened and there were no blood stains anywhere, no hospital reported that the dead bodies are been preserved in their morgues, no identities yet, the massacred protesters don't have a family, no obituaries, no funerals yet? Those who were alleged to have died have come out to debunked the fake NEWs.
Even if the army seized the bodies of those they killed(which is a lie), the families have not kom out to decry their missing members? Even the protest organizers don't know those who died. Even those who made live Instagram videos were caught posting fake pictures.. in this era where everyone has access to Android phones, nobody has authentic pictures of those who were massacred in lekki.
A thorough investigation needs to be carried out on this matter and people made to face the full wrath of the law

Falz, DJ switch, Aisha yesufu, wailers... We demand to know the identities of those massacred... Oh, even falz posted fake pictures

Hmm, those are the names they call them by- street urchins, miscreants, hoodlums, touts, what other names do we call them out there. They all over Nigeria in their millions. Oh, they're the ones that infiltrated the peaceful protests. Ah, they were the ones that inflicted the destruction across the country - burning, looting, stealing, killing and, yeah, raping. Really. Were those really their names, I think not. They were the creation of you and me, the monster given birth to and nurtured by the irresponsible system of government we run. They're forgotten, neglected, abandoned, discarded, marginalised children of the country whose lives have become valueless to you and me. So we think, until they reminded all of us once again of their presence, value, importance, efficiency and effectiveness. In just twenty four hours, they brought the entire nation to attention making all of us to scurry to our mothers and fathers, sent the affluents to their sanctuary, that's if they believe it to be so, the leaders were hurriedly moving from one meetings to another. The world looked on in amazement. Just like a wind, they retreated to be by another whirlwind, sooner or later. Do we think we can get away with it, the injustice and inequality that bred them. Let's continue to live in denial as if we don't know the use we put them into. Politicians always negatively empower them, leaders use them as disruptive agents, yet society detest them. These elements know what we think about them, they know we don't value their lives. Surprised, how we now expect them to value all that's societal, the infrastructures, the investments, the government structure, the businesses, oh yes our safety and indeed our lives. Keep calling them all those names and be in fools Paradise, congratulating ourselves for every milestone that doesn't involve them. They're there to destroy everything that we have built, endanger all our lives, kill our loved ones and ultimately crash everything if we continue to turn blind eyes to their existence. The children that the society refuse or fail to cultivate will cultivate themselves into nemesis. We are our own nemesis and we continue to live with it until we decide to cultivate every single child born of this country. Remember, another time is coming for their emergence from where they have crawled back into. They are waiting, watching, thinking and angling for that another time.

Honesty, is there anything a reasonable leader could have done? By the time a critical evaluation of the Lekki scenario is completed, Nigerians will be in for a shocker.

This is an after-thought. What stopped bihari from mentioning that he will speak on the lekki issue when investigation has been concluded

It's now clearly shown that the welfare of Nigerians mean nothing to the presidency. So, because the issue is under investigation, president find it difficult to explain that to Nigerians. Even those so called advisers lack reasoning ability to let the president know how necessary it is to mention it in his speech.

Abati as well. I really wonder what gets into them when they get govt appointments. It makes one question their motives even prior.
You won't blame them. They're under oath to speak what they want the public to believe. Its best you don't take the post and stand on your rights cos the moment you accept the appointment, you become the puppet like Femi Adeshina and Co are now.

It would have been premature and presumtious for the President to speak on the Lekki killings was an error of judgement.
