With the recent developments in the country nobody can claim that my acertation is not correct. There has been a great rise in domestic terrorism overtime and it is hightime the government should create an agency akin to homeland security as the applies in the US.What we saw over the past days has clearly shown the current mess of the security situation in the country with the antics of disgrunted elements,hoodlums and criminals to cause anarchy and have a field day raping,looting,killing,undoing acts of terror,causeing general destruction and mayhem just for their selfish and personal desires.And most disturbing is the govt helplessness to protect the lives and properties of innocent citiziens.The country is sitting on a time bomb because these hoodlums have mysteriously fizzled back to the society,they cannot be accounted for or apprehended to face their acts of terror.These said hoodlums would seemly resurface on any given oppourtunity and further unleash even great acts of terror that we saw recently. Nobody is taking about the acts of terror that happened in Edo State (even before the Lekki disturbances ).that set the precedent for acts of mayhem in some parts of the country in guise of ENDSARs protests. The govt or army did not shoot at peaceful protesters in Edo state before they went on rampage burning police stations ,looting arms ,then going to break into the two main prisons in the state capital to free hardened criminals into the society.The state prior before has been under siege from kiddnappers,rapists,armed robbers and cultists.The storming of the prisons was done by an organized set of domestic terrorists with networks all over the country,we could see a a replication in Lagos,Delta and Ondo were attempts were made and sucessfully made to free hardened criminals.
We also have cyberterrorists using social media as twitter and all to foment subversive theories for their selfish desires to incite the general population unjustly. These cyberterrorists are high wealthy having made their money through drug deals, the same cybercrimes,a majority of them are into entertainment and fronting as human rights archivists.Right now it will be to risky to stage any peaceful protests to agitate for a just cause.This we saw time and time in past protests they have always been hijacked by hoodlums and all.From clear understanding these protests even for seemly just causes are being sponsored by some group holding related interests in political affairs .Right now we cannot differenciate between said agitations for just causes and actions of the aftermath of these agitation and the very agitations they are fighting against.The govt should embark on creating an agency to deal with Domestic terrorism in the country or else ...
