Abeg this looting isn't just a Nigerian thing.... It happens all over the world.
Even in the US during the George Floyd's protest, there was massive looting and arsonists.
It's a human thing, not a Nigerian thing.

True, but they also make microchips, 3D printers, own Google, Amazon, ExxonMobil, Cocacola, etc.

They are always seeking solutions while we are always blaming everyone else but ourselves.

How old do you think he is?

His generation ensured democracy was entrenched in Nigeria.

If this was how June 12 was marred by unserious criminals and looters Nigeria wouldn't have gotten the so called democracy

I'm a very young person but I know the youth are not different from the elders.

When they say youth should rule Nigeria people only think about the small percentage who had the privilege of acquiring quality education not the majority who never passed through a Philosophy and logic class or even understood what they were taught if they even attended the classes.

When they say youth should rule Nigeria people only think about those who graduated without any trouble in school not those who were running around campuses beheading fellow human beings like cavemen in the name of Cultism

When they say youth should rule Nigeria people only think of those living in Lekki and Banana Island with Satellite TV to see the world beyond their confines and not the majority living in slums with only propaganda Television channels like LTV and European football leagues at viewing centers at their disposal

When they say youth should rule Nigeria people think about the few rich entertainers and sportsmen who do not understand basic laws and are motivated by hard drugs.

They think about the woke ones on twitter not the ones breaking into people's businesses .

Amaechi, Udom , Yahaya Bello , Gowon ,Buhari (head of State) , Obasanjo (Head of State) , Ojukwu (Head of State) etc ruled as youths.
We want the peaceful youth we saw at the protest ground to lead us. The ones who coordinate themselves and ask for freedom and reformation. We have all shades of youth but we want the youth that believe in a bright future of Nigeria.

When you lead you will not only encounter submissive people. The bulk of your followers would be those with views different from yours .

Those who led the protest had no control over it. They did not know when to stop and this led to anarchy. The damages the protest brought in the end outweighs its benefit because to stop this anarchy, the soldiers and policemen have employed brutality.

The youths are not their problem. The government created it for them. Imagine a country that after finishing school .no job! A country that everything is by connection and not your brilliance or intelligence. So that man should not talk that way

Abdulazeez99:
Nollywood actor Charles Awurum says the youths are their own problem following unrest nationwide rising from the #EndSARS protest by the youths, Igbere TV reports.

The father of three stated this in a video posted on Sunday on his Instagram page where he addressed the issue of hoodlums looting and destroying businesses.

Igbere TV reports following the shooting of protesters at Lekki toll gate, Lagos on October 20, hoodlums have taken to the streets to loot and destroy private and public property.

Ever since Ihedioha l left office as Imo State governor, this guy has not got himself.

Sir, the youths are not the problems. The system is. If the system is not fixed , things scatter.

Not your fault. If your children are hungry and you know what it feels like, you'll recognize the courage and risks that it takes to even loot. Just to survive this hell called Nigeria.

To be honest , if you are not a member of the Blackk Axxe or affiliated to the cult, you can't join a particular music label owned by a youth. There's another one you cannot join if you are not a bird. Walking in the real streets away from Twitter I always feel that nepotism would be based on cult groups and not even ethnicity in the future

Hmmmm..
This is unfortunately the truth about an average Nigeran youth..

This is a well discerned mind talking. You can imagine handing the government to cultist again, and imagine the reckless killing and lifestyle that follows. Yahaya Bello is a youth, and we know what he's doing in Kogi State, so pathetic and disgraceful. All we need is good governance.

Incognito403:

Typical of a directionless youth, always blaming his parents for all his woes and never grateful for the little they gave.

Many of you think adulthood is all about freedom to copulate like donkeys and smoke like chimneys.

Hey, adulthood is all about being responsible for your life. If you decide to copulate like a donkey then it's assumed that you know all the risks involved; STDs, societal stigma, threats and attacks from Exes etc. If you decide to smoke like a chimney then you know the effects; lung damage, financial costs, social stigma etc.

So being an adult means people and the law will safely assume you're deliberate in all your decisions.

No matter what your parents did or undid to you, once you become an adult the ball is in your court. You either shoot it or keep whining about your parents.

You better stand up and take responsibility for your life. Many of your mates grew up without the little your parents gave you, yet they lived against the odds.

Grow up toddler.

That was a good advice you gave to that foolish boy

It’s as a result of the social engineering purposely done by politicians through hunger and hopelessness to produce unthinking, unfeeling and unquestioning foot soldiers to carry out whatever macabre instructions they’re given.
The proof is in the videos of men in govt vehicles directing thugs like mindless cattle from one direction to the other to wreck havoc on the properties of those who have done them no harm.

Let me paraphrase you, you mean the peaceful youth should have fought away the youth thugs while still protesting peacefully?? Is that the job of the peaceful youth protesters? If Yes! then what happens to people paid to protect lives and property?

Secondly, are the attacks by thugs and hoodlum inspired by the fact that they don't like peaceful protest? or the fact that they were hired to do their violent work like we have always observed?

let me hear your view

Abeg go and sit down.

In this situation, I say that is not true.

What were you doing and saying when road, education, salaries owed, power generation, and other project money were being diverted with impunity.

This is the result.

Even covid palliative had to be stored as their personal gift case.

If these leaders have any iota of sense, they will join hands with the people and rebuild. With our money and borrowed money. It is time to hire many people for rebuilding all those places that were damaged and building things right this time.

I still say without light, we will have a shadowed future.
