Why exactly do you people use 'Looting' and 'Palliatives' in the same sentence??! Especially when it's clearly poor and hungry people who risk all to 'loot' these donated items!!! People are forcefully and peacefully collecting what was donated to them, you guys are terming them looters! Making them out to be criminals!!! Since those who ought to have distributed these items to them equitably have chosen to hoard them (Even sell them for profit), the people they are truly meant for have chosen to assist the morons in distribution!!! Nonsense and Failed State!!! 1 Like |

lagonovo: You sound so much like the very problem that leads to this. Defender of the status quo ante, desirer of a return to the 'normal'. Instead of trying to diffuse the situation by advising those who have the mandate to effect a new direction for this country you give us a history lesson of what will be, to hopefully scare the 'Israelites on their way in exodus' to return to the slavery of Egypt by your 'Red Sea' narrative. It just sounds too lame. Yes, this could be the warning rumblings of a volcano about to go off. I cannot understand why you think it wise to pour cold water on the volcano instead of fleeing for life and limb. Oga. Nigeria has changed permanently. The old order is gone forever. A rubicon has been crossed. Nigeria CANNOT get more peaceful than this if it governed like this. The goverment and so called leaders will determine her future, not the citizens. |

It's hard time we make our priorities right. What exactly the populace want from the military apart from protecting the country from external aggression and maintain peace and unity of our country? As the protest is going on in our country if the military use force we come out and gosh out our displeasure over the military action and when they fold their hands or pay deaf ear to the happenings we still talk in anyway am tired. Pls note they are rules and regulations guiding the military in the course of discharging his/her duty. A civil is guided by only civil laws while a military personnel is guided by both civil law and armed forces act cap 840 laws of the federation. When a military man commit he will be charged using armed forces act and later handed over to the civil police for persecution. |

If you go to thd market and see how expensive things have become, you would understand why people are helping themselves with the hoarded palliatives aggressively. I only condemn vehemently, those looting people businesses and shops.... That terribly wicked but you see those taking palliatives, its a welcome development |
