X-factoria:

Do you know what is called Sycophancy?? You will be shocked to find that the same set of people trooped out in numbers for Ribadu and GEJ/Sambo.

This has never been a pointer to where the majority votes in these places will go on election day. A lot of these folks won't know who to vote until they are handed the N1,000 note on election day and all the sermons on "don't sell your votes" won't matter to them because they just can't comprehend the implications.

My brother, elections are very funny in Nigeria! Be careful how you celebrate this.

Sorry Bro. The crowd following Buhari in virtually every state are definitely not sycophants. How can you make such a false assertion in bold letters? If your dreamt-up and fallacious statement were true we should be seeing the same size of crowd behind GEJ na! Abeg post any pix of any GEJ rally and show us if he has 20% of the size of BB's crowd.

Its funny the way people think pix of rally crowds are something to wow at! LOL!!!!
We are only thankful that GEJ's campaigns are grounded in issues and his campaign team see no reason to flaunt photo's. In so many ways, flaunting photo's and not policies, agenda's and solutions only speaks of a campaign of emptiness.

Ok, we've seen the pix, but what did the man say? Nothing? grin grin grin

^^Please go back and look well at the first two pictures posted. Study the faces. What do they tell you? Underaged almajirai. There are 13 million of them or more in the North. Since 2003, they have always trooped out in huge numbers everywhere Buhari goes in the far North. I know because that I live in the North. How many of them actually have voters card? What are Buhari's plans concerning this social menace. At least GEJ has presented definite, specific plans for the almajirai.

Go look back at 2003 and 2007, that is the way they trooped out for Buhari's rally in the north and he still lost the general elections. I maintain that these guys are sycophants - they don't know their left from right and they follow whoever bids their support in the last minute. You will soon find out after April 12!

Those Almajiris make up the 18.8 million voters a voters population which the South south and south east jointly cannot produce, you might want to be nicer to them

For too long, almajiri's have been seen as disposable figures, emphasis should not be on their sheer volume of votes, but what can be done to lift them out of their bestial existence.

There are only two ways to be nice to an almajiri in todays Nigeria, and both are mean and expoitative. The first is to turn their Imams on them and produce an ugly, religiously fevered mass; the second is to exploit their desperate poverty and buy their loyalties or their voters cards outright. Not good.

From these pictures, it appears that most school-aged young men do not attend school in the northern region of Nigeria. Instead of staying in classrooms while studying, it seems they are very busy attending political rallies of Buhari.

You misconstrue my statement. Perhaps almajiri is an emotive word for you but I am not one of those that refer to all northerners as almajiri. This scourge is a well known phenomenon in the north. And my point is that a substantial amount of those showing up at Buhari's rallies in the north consist of this group who are largely not going to vote. It only illustrates the massive poverty in the north which northern leaders have done nothing about. Instead they have kept this group as an underclass for ready use as cannon-fodder to advance their personal interest. This is something that Buhari himself is guilty of doing. The current hagiographing of Buhari should not blind his supporters to that truth.
Please do pay close attention to the picture again, start with the portion circled in red. See the faces of children comprising a big portion of the crowd. Are this exploited children going to vote in April?
