What's the Solution Nigeria?

By Amos words

The problem of Nigeria is far fetched from corruption and bad leadership, take away the grip of the law today from those countries we see as saner climes and watch it wreck in pieces of violence and social disorder.

Nigerians that travel abroad, are they not always law abiding? But can same be said when they find themselves back in Nigeria? No! You see where exactly where the problem is right?

My position is that, the executives are to be blamed for whatever wretch we have in our society today, they're responsible for maintaining social order, upholding the fear of rule of law but this executives how well can they fair exercising their duty judiciously? How much are they paid, what recruiting modalities was used if not the same rotten system that is always used; most that find themselves as law enforcement officers paid their way into the system, most doesn't even find the job appealing but have to manage, most are just relatives of those in power etc, can we now say this kind of individuals can judiciously carry out their duty when they're loyal to one corrupt system or the other, can you fight your masters?

Nigeria glows on the auspices of corruption, this it has been since time immorial, there's more to what actually is than seen, what must we then do?

A structure for a new Nigeria must be birth, not until a politician is made to go-to jail for breaking the law then nothing good has actually happened, it is actually impossible to think the people can be made to think different from how originally Nigeria has made them think; a Nigerian at least opportunity would milk you dry if you don't know your left from right, a Nigerian without watch sees every leadership opportunity to show the next neighbor whom he is, an opportunity for self enrichment, how about that local Keke man that charges a stranger much more than he actually should?

• Nigeria new structure should include a split of power in the presidency where we have a prime minister and a president,

• Our states should have total control of their resources as against what is being practiced the power of both the judiciary & executives should be strengthened.

• A more severe punishment example death which is what is being practiced in China should be uphold as penalty for corruption, politics should be made less lucrative as salaries of all political offices should be according to the levels/grade in the civil service, security votes should likewise be reduced to the barest minimum, this is my kind of restructuring, this is my idea of a new Nigeria.
