I have no business with your imagination. What I'm simply telling you is stop being a nuisance in a public forum only to start screaming at the top of your voice when same is served to you.
As you can see, this is a thread about Muslim celebration, yet i dont know where the discussion of igbos owning the universe is crawling out from.

If u re sensible enough, u would have asked ur self were igbos came into muslims thread - if not that u re very daft by bringing igbos into the matter here in the first place

It seems as if it is only Nigeria that declares a public holiday for this.

For the sake of the economy, the number of public holidays should be reduced. Some days may just be observed without being made public holidays.

The funniest thing about this holiday every year is the intended beneficiaries never plan for nor use it for anything.
In fact, ask many of them on Thursday, they will be looking like zombies

The celebration of Eid-El-Maulud is a very special day in countries professing the Muslim religion of Islam, as it commemorates the birth of the prophet Muhammad, who gave birth to Islam. This day is celebrated in Rabi' al-awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar.

Enjoy the holiday!
Show me where in the Qu'an, Islam celebrates or supports the celebration of birthdays, even that is Mohammad (SAW)

their govt, what they like is what they do whether it is at the detriment of the people and the nation is none of their business.

they can decide to shut the nation down for 1week and kill their rams and merry, its not their business.

I appreciate your response. It is unscriptural for the true Christians to celebrate birthdays, which includes Christmas. Birthday celebration has its origin in paganism, way back in Ejypt, where it was necessary to know the type of life a new Pharoah would lead. This was important because, the Pharoahs needed to preserve their dynasty, so if it is foretold that a particular Pharoah would be weak, something had to be done about it. Through the aid of Easterners, particularly from Tibet it was discovered that the celestial bodies (moon, stars) had a particular shape a different times of the year. This shapes over time was drawn and it is what is popularly known today as the zodiac signs. That is the reason why u see each zodiac symbol has a date period. This is known as Astrology. Astrologers believed that through the symbol formed from the shape of these celestial bodies, a person's character/future could be foretold. So it was important to know the birth date of a Pharoah. Hence, back then Pharoahs birthdays were thoroughly celebrated. Genesis 40:20
Now the third day was Pharʹaoh’s birthday, and he made a feast for all his servants, and he brought out both the chief cupbearer and the chief baker in the presence of his servants
The scriptures does not support Astrology. See Isaiah 47:13-14 where God described Astrologers as star gazers and those who worship the heavens (the moon, stars, sun). Since we now know that birthday celebration has its roots in ungodliness, we must not have anything to do with it. The scriptures at 2 Corinthians 6:17 warns us to stop touching the unclean thing, if we are to be called true worshippers of God.
Why then is birthday celebration popular among Christians? I humbly invite u to learn about this answer.

Muhammad's birthday is unislamic just like other practices that unfortunately Christians is not ready to listen to be educated upon. However, fighting and claiming the public holiday for it is similar to Christian's fought and claimed Christians pilgrims Board. There is no where in the Bible where Christians are enjoined to go on holy pilgrimage to JERUSALEM.. Holy pilgrimage to Makkah and holy duties of it are written in the Qu'an.

So u see how falsehood has crept into Christianity? True Christians however recognize these falsehoods and avoid dem, while the rest of the world who profess Christianity but do what pleases them.
