Hmmm. First, the pallaitives were meant for the people. So, I think I share the same sentiment with the poster above me.

The people that must be prosecuted are the ones that broke into private homes and businesses to loot.

Nigetian youths are hungry. If they only looted government warehouses or looted foodstores and they didn't kill anyone, they should be set free. The book of proverbs 6:30 says people, do not despise a thief If he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving. Amazingly the holy quran also supports it. The politicians made their lives so miserable.

The government don't have the moral justification to prosecute anyone because of the covid-19 palliative issue because the government stole it from the people in the first place.

Don't even go there.

Those COVID 19 PALLIATIVE bunkerers are only possessing their rightful possession.

The people who should be prosecuted are those who hoarded the palliatives.

That said, those hoodlums that started looting private shops should be arrested and shot immediately.

If we have a working government, those in charge of the palliatives should be prosecuted across the states.

What is their crime, procecute people that takes what rightfully belongs to them? And it's a very big insult for you to use the word loot. You can't loot what you have.

Yeah sure they should and also prosecute the individuals or politicians who first looted it before the masses started looting... if they can’t prosecute the politicians that hid it in thier home, then they should free the masses with immediate effects biko cheesy

1. The Government/Leaders have failed us but it seems there is light at the end of the tunnel. Light because it is now obvious that our voice can be heard if we are smart and organised.

2. Gaining unauthorised access to the materials is condemnable. It does not portray us (The youth/ The masses/The governed) in good light

3. Many of the so-called looters aren't hungry but greedy. There are many of them that live comfortably but they just love AWUF

4. The Government should let those eventually proven guilty to do community service as punishment. If we do not learn to call a spade a spade, we will not grow as a Nation

Why should the government prosecute them It's a two-day thing. The government started first, didn't only loot the food and livelihood of the people but also looted the future of the youths ! infact Government should even be the one to be held responsible and prosecuted. sad

Iyocartel:
Iyooooooo cartel

Why prosecute people who are taking what rightly belong to them.
While other state governorship are freely leaving the citizens of their state to freely loot the palliatives, ifeanyi Ugwuayi of Enugu state and obiano of anambra killed their citizens because of indomie 3k.
Gburu gburu is the worse thing to ever happened to Enugu state in a long time

Who are the palliatives ment for? The poorest of the poor and hungry affected by covid19. If those people weren’t so hungry and poor they wouldn’t loot indomie and milk etc..

The policy was a success for the 1st time cos for once it went to The right people.

The only issue is the uniformity of the sharing or looting.
Re: Should Government Prosecute COVID-19 Palliative Looters? by Lion21(m): 9:01am On Oct 28, 2020
They question should rather be why did our state governors refuse to share palliative meant for citizens. This alone makes me believe we are been govern by heartless and greedy leaders . It will interest you to know that some of this palliative are getting spoilt already . And lagos state governor Sanwo olu said they have started sharing the palliative that protesters hault the process FAT BIG LIE . That great day is still coming I strongly believe son of nobody will rise to become somebody without knowing anybody .
