A project between 100 million and 110 million ballots will be cast before election day. In 2016, total votes cast was about 136 million.

This year, it's expected that as many as 150 million Americans would vote. In the battleground state of Texas with about 38 electoral votes, about 92 percent of all the votes counted in 2016 have already been cast.
