SashaGrey:This. I can relate somehow. Yahoo yahoo changed the game completely. Such a shame. I remember those days when only rich kids, white collar workers, and abroad returnees ran the show. Got all the girls. Now yahoo boys don scatter market for everybody.
Bad investment decisions would blow away their payoff much faster than inflation. 90% of them are not street savvy, so they would not have a clue on how to run profitable ventures. Them go end up throwing millions into fire. That one sure. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Klass99:If Na loan matter, Chevron staff dey learn work for where Agip workers dey. Oil and gas company workers are like celebrities. The society puts so much pressure on them and they too try to live within the "imaginary industry standard" the society created for them. They are just like bankers... Some of them can't boast of 200k as take home, after their loan deductions. Bottomline is... Nothing beats having your own business. Salary work Na salary work! The month salary no come... You go see Jonsing. |

The least anyone will take home will be N50m. The normal settlement would be from N100m upwards. Go and find out yourself. Do you know my friend working in one of the oil companies has a quarterly take home of about N25m? You think they're on same level with bankers or telecomms workers? sonnie10: |

luvme0702:Oga #100m is only $250k. Even if they invest such in real estate in US, it can only buy a one family house in very undesirable part of the country. Rent there for the house could be as low as $1700 less income tax a month. If they do not have other source of income, that amount can’t sustain them for a month, If you are thinking of retirement abroad with #100m , please think twice. 1 Like |

A dollar is almost N500 sir. We are looking at about $450k and that's huge. Rbr I said the least take-home. Some will get as much as N300m.Only a foolish person will relocate abroad and sit at home doing nothing. We Nigerians are hustlers and there's no way we won't continue to hustle if we ever relocate. sonnie10: |

luvme0702:1 what would be the bases of their migration application? 2 you initially said #50m to #100m just now you are throwing in another figure #300m 3 use your calculator or google to convert #100m to dollar. No point to argue 4 what work will some without a work permit do? 5 You think US is where you hustle anyhow hustle? 6) You win. I give up |

I said the least will be N50m and it's usually N100m upwards and yes as long as one is hardworking in the u.s, you can hustle your way through. I never said it'll be easy but yes, it's possible with hardwork and determination. sonnie10: |
