You guys should stop stressing this issue. I am not saying no one was killed but to get a clearer picture of the incident, let the families of those who they claim were killed come out and speak. Or is that too much for them?

Another goat on the loose.

1. Soldiers truly shot at protesters and people were killed.
2. Soldiers carted away bodies that night (There are video evidences of soldiers freely walking into the midst of protesters to take away bodies).
3. We all watched how someone died during the live session of DJ Switch after being hit by a bullet.
4. Bullet shell casings were also found the next day.
5. Several were wounded and rushed to the hospital.
6. Sanwo-Olu initially said no one died but later came around to say only two persons were confirmed dead. (What killed them?).
7. The military denied ever been at the Lekki toll gate that night. As a matter of fact, they planted badges and ranks on the scene after they left.
8. If families aren't coming out, it is because they are either scared or not living close to the dead victims to even suspect they went to protest.
9. Several missing person cases took over Twitter 3 days after the Lekki onslaught and families were directed to several hospitals which took in these victims.

There is no denying that the Nigerian Army, through the soldiers, took away bodies that night, possible to reduce the outrage of the military killing unarmed protesters in modern age.

What's worse is that the event of that was premeditated and carefully executed. First, they took out cameras, then cut off power around the area to prevent people from recording their atrocities. We all saw videos of on and off the scene of that night.

Anyone with a straight head knows there is a massive cover-up attempt by the government. People were shot at; people were killed and soldiers took bodies away that night.

1. Were is the evidence soldiers shot at people talkless people were "killed". Yes, people died (2).
The governor said “Information reaching us now is that a life was lost at Reddington Hospital due to blunt force trauma to the head."
Later, he confirmed the second probably in a similar fashion.

2. Please provide just 1 of "these" video evidences. Thank you.

3. DJ switch can help the panel with details of just this dead. Just the name and probably the social media handle were we can confirm his demise through mourning. We aren't asking for evidences of the bodies that she went to drop at the foot of the soldiers since her phone battery "went off".

4. The Soldiers never denied their presence nor that they fired shots. They only maintained that they never fired into the protesters.
Where shots were fired, Bullet shell casings will be found.

5. That's inevitable. Stampede is bound to happen. Especially those that were in front and could see the direction or the shots or where the shots were coming from. However, those in front that could see it's just shooting into the air stood and kept saying, "no shaking, end sars". (Please watch the video again and refute this).

6. That's because no one died on the spot nor at the time of the first report. This is ofcourse not possible if there were protesters hit by AK47. He however listed the injured and infact mentioned that two are in critical conditions. Unfortunately the two eventually died and one was confirmed to be due to blunt force trauma. When stampede begins, head slamming begins.

7. Please provide evidence of the military ever denying being at the toll gate that night. Thank you.

8. Please, stop saying this, it is giving you out too easily. Don't forget, a very strong "mother" already came out (her strength was so evident from her body language). The only problem is, "her son" died through accident along with two other protesters before the "Lekki massacre". Check his Facebook page and you will see condolence messages before 7:00pm that night.

9. All alleged missing persons on Twitter have already been debunked. This is going to two weeks now. Please remind them there is a judicial panel of inquiry sitting and they will definitely get justice there if they come forth.

10. On the "CCTV" and light, LCC stated that “On the 20th of October, we received feedback that some of the tolling equipment were being pulled off, hence we went into the lanes to recover more items including analogue Bosch Tolling device used to monitor transactions carried out in the toll lanes. The perimeter closed-circuit television system (CCTV) are Mobotiz Digital cameras. They were not removed and are still installed. in the lanes even now.”

“There was no instruction from ANYONE to remove the perimeter CCTV cameras. Removing them will require the use of machinery to reach the heights that they have been installed and are still installed.”

“LCC receives power from the IPP grid, the power albeit stable is taken off from time to time. At such times, LCC relies on the backup generators for power supply, however, following the declaration of the curfew by the state govern°, LCC withdrew ALL her staff from the office locations. This is the reason why the lights could not be restored when the mains from IPP went off temporarily. This is verifiable.”

You need to respect other people's opinions. That they don't agree with you and doesn't mean they don't have a straight head. Especially when they are the ones arguing with reason unlike sentiments and they have successfully proof all supposed evidences to be false.

Please nairalanders, their are evidences of the killings and i belief it's already on ICC's table, the online defenders are only doing their job, don't pay attention to people asking for details of the deceased, you may put their life in danger if dj switch could be threatened. Let reason the matter, why is it that whenever any massacre related issue is raised the only thing they ask is the family of the deceased.

You shouldn't have commented since you are yet to see videos of the massacre. People who came out to protest are the regular, some 9-5 folks who are most likely the breadwinners of their family. And there is no denying that most of them live alone. There is every possibility that their families had no idea they joined in the protest. The poor have no voice in Nigeria, save it is collective and done in unison, such as that of the protest.

The military did kill people and took some bodies with them. There are still so many missing person tweets on Twitter almost every day. If we are to go by your idea, perhaps no one was killed at all since some families took the bodies of their people but never came online to record, wail or cry.

Watch this video on Instagram where the army refused the Lagos State Judicial Panel set up to investigate the incidents during the course of the protests as well as the massacre, access into their mortuary citing “renovations”.

Say what you know. Everything is not on the Internet. A friend just confirmed to me that his ex-girl was among the victims of the Lekki shooting. She was a medical personnel and was doing really good.

It took the family 5 days to know she was among the dead.

Please speak for your self. Many families are traumatized and afraid to even speak up.

Our government can't be trusted

Can you please post her name, picture, social media handle or the hospital she works.

Why did u think tinubu say 'what are the characters of victims? Survivors have questions to answers. ' That statement is deep. Did you listen to femi falana interview recently on this matter? Security agents dumb bodies in mortuary and tagged them criminals. It took me years to figure out . Some families will come out , others will not. Why do you think hospital organize mass burials for unclaimed bodies? Road accident victims and those brought by security agents are majority . 2 months ago, sars brought 1 guy, he was tortured to death. Till now no family member has come to claim the body.

Lekki masscre is a matter of national security, most cases will be off record for now. However, list of missing persons is being compiled by cso regarding lekki incident. Take your time and check Twitter, information for mature minds is there.

As much as it is difficult for me to believe this Sahara reporters report... I saw one dead body that was riddled with bullets on that night DJ witch was doing her thing. The guys were screaming they have killed him. I was certain the guy was killed on the scene of the protest and this dead guy is not accounted for and he is not one of those sowolu said died in the hospital

Now my question is where is that guy could he be part of those the army took away if indeed the army actually took bodies away and prevented the emergency services from rendering aid.

Are you suggesting that only those that came to Lagos without money to return home were at Lekki that night? Was it a night shift for only those who don’t have family members in Lagos on that fateful night? If you claim many won’t come out to say anything about the shooting for fear of their safety, why are you bold enough to talk about it? Would they not also come for you, and are you not also jeopardizing their safety?

This was a live interview with arise news on ikoyi-lekki link bridge next morning after the lekki toll gate shooting. Take your time to watch it and tell me if the guy is lying too.
