According to Jesus Christ, when it comes to entering the Kingdom of God, there is one thing... Those who obey His commandments will enter into His Kingdom. So if a drunk is able to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ, then he, the drunkard, will definitely enter the Kingdom of God. I am sorry but there is no place where Jesus Christ Himself said anything about drunks not entering His kingdom at all. And you will be shocked that those who will indeed make it into the Kingdom of Heaven will not be those who you expect or have ruled over.

Matthew 7 vs 15-23(ERV)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15. “Be careful of false prophets. They come to you and look gentle like sheep. But they are really dangerous like wolves.
16. You will know these people because of what they do. Good things don’t come from people who are bad, just as grapes don’t come from thornbushes, and figs don’t come from thorny weeds.
17. In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, and bad trees produce bad fruit.
18. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.
19. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20. You will know these false people by what they do.[a]

21. “Not everyone who calls me Lord will enter God’s kingdom. The only people who will enter are those who do what my Father in heaven wants.
22. On that last Day many will call me Lord. They will say, ‘Lord, Lord, by the power of your name we spoke for God. And by your name we forced out demons and did many miracles.’
23. Then I will tell those people clearly, ‘Get away from me, you people who do wrong. I never knew you.’

Except that when you're drunk you can't obey anything grin

What commandment is a drunk unable to obey or what commandment does one break when drunk? undecided

That you find a person drunk at any point in time does not mean the said person has not been living, prior to that, in obedience to the will of God. Drunkenness is not against any commandment that Jesus Christ gave to His followers... He instead encouraged them that it is not what they eat that makes them unclean, so they are free to eat and drink as they please.

As to what commandment one who is drunk is unable to obey in that state, that depends on what commandment God has for the person at that time, and the person really... no one else can determine what is possible and what is not for all drunks.

So, yes, Jesus Christ is on point in not adding a clause against drunks entering His kingdom.

I always had it in my spirit to put a halt to taking any form of Alchohol, my immediate family have a 5 and 6 relationship with it, a month hardly went buy without us taking a bottle of wine or 2 for meals or what ever reason. We love to make toasts at the table and sometimes my mum says a prayer or 2 before every pop and the louder the sound we hail the popper, this is like a tradition sort of, i dont know how it will be to suddely say im not drinking again. I really dont want to please man but please God. May God direct me. Amen

I think what you instead need to put a halt to is the guilt you feel when you drink alcohol. God made alcohol for man's consumption and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Jesus Christ drank alcohol when He was here on earth -- the Pharisees even labelled Him a drunk/wine bibber as a result.

If the one you serve, Jesus Christ, did not give you any commands against drinking alcohol, why make such rules for yourself?
Have you forgotten that Jesus Christ warned that by adopting such doctrines and rules in your life, you make void the power of God in your life?

And let's not forget, during the last supper, Jesus Christ introduced us to the New Covenant by giving us wine(alcohol) to drink to seal the agreement between God and those who will follow Him

Luke 22 vs 14-20
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
14. The time came for them to eat the Passover meal. Jesus and the apostles were together at the table.
15. Jesus said to them, “I wanted very much to eat this Passover meal with you before I die.
16. I will never eat another Passover meal until it is given its full meaning in God’s kingdom.”

17. Then Jesus took a cup of wine. He gave thanks to God for it and said, “Take this cup and give it to everyone here.
18. I will never drink wine again until God’s kingdom comes.”
19. Then he took some bread and thanked God for it. He broke off some pieces, gave them to the apostles and said, “This bread is my body that I am giving for you. Eat this to remember me.”
20. In the same way, after supper, Jesus took the cup of wine and said, “This wine represents the new agreement from God to his people. It will begin when my blood is poured out for you.”
