ModelX: Why denying it was a photoshop at first? Why denying they never went there secondly? Why did they latter agree that they went? Why the denying and counter denial? What are they trying to hide? It takes more lies to cover one lie. Are you not ashamed of the lies of the army within a space of 10 days? What happens to saying the truth? What is our strong army afraid of? 4 Likes |

ModelX: The army's official position is that they did not shoot anyone. So where did blank bullets come from? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/10/endsars-protest-soldiers-didnt-shoot-any-protester-at-lekki-toll-gate-army/ You are also wrong that blank bullets don't kill. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4150180/Stunt-man-28-killed-shot-blank-round.html And finally if this was a supposed blank bullet why are bullets being removed from this man's leg? Where did they come from? https://twitter.com/DuchessT_/status/1318648455103995904?s=19 Stop spreading fake news. 1 Like |

SmallmebigGod: This is the most sensible and intellectually piece I have read in this thread. It's obvious that 95% of readers believe that a massacre occurred that night at the Lekki Toll Gate and they all believe that the Army whisked away evidence of the shootings. Since the public has a very low confidence in the Army's story and it'll be difficult to get proof from the same Army... I think identifying the deceased and their families and friends will be a better alternative 2 Likes 1 Share |

Abidob:You must remember politicians will come and go, but the Nigerian army will always be here with us, they represent Nigeria. As adults, we understand that the army was put in a difficult position because they were called in...let us focus on the politicians giving the orders...cos in a democracy, politicians make the orders...that is why we need a people's legislature(senate/house of reps), let us remove all those greedy people there, and vote in the right people that represents us. Remember this, when the chips are down, it is the Nigerian military that will save the Nation, let us build it into a solid institution of Nigeria. I will never be too hasty to castigate and demoralise our military, Nigerians do this a lot, compared the other nations of the world. No matter the allegations levelled against American military in Iraq and afghanistan, the American people understood that the orders came from the politicians, and it was the politicians that suffered for it, because they understand that the military exists for their interest, the people's interest. I have been to some countries and i follow online commentaries...Nigerians should be wary of seccessonists sowing seeds of discord between the people and the Nigerian military institution. Nairaland mods please take note of propangandists and fifth columnists in our midst. Nigerians be wise, the Nigerian army is for us all. 1 Like |

They will deny the allegations saying it is FAKE news and will refuse to tell us the AUTHENTIC news. They have lost my respect forever, very shameless people. |

It’s 11 days after the so called #lekkimassacre still no family came out looking for there son’s or daughters who was at the toll gate to protest that very night, still gullible youths thinks there was a massacre. Dj switch went into hiding, she needs to be found and explain how she carried 15 dead bodies to the soldiers while been shot at. Lives and properties have been lost, people let emotions rule over there thinking, am ashamed of this generation.[ quote author=saintbillion post=95517331]The Nigerian Army have come out to deny the allegations of moving 20 death bodies to IDH mortuary, saying that the news is fake. This was posted in their twitter handle https://twitter.com/HQNigerianArmy/status/1322228058116468736?s=19[/quote] |

Nathan101:you that simply refused to let emotions play on you. Can you answer the following questions and admit it is fake or truth. Where the army on Lekki Toll gate on 20.10.2020? Did they shot at protesters at Lekki Toll gate? Where there injured victims among the protesters? If yes did this lead to fatality? The Lagos state Gov made a fake claim of no fatality, which gave room for anger that made the protest in the state more violent and thugs took advantage to loot public and private properties. The army denied not being present at the Lekki toll gate but now has unashamedly agreed they where present there when certain evidence they can't debunk got to their awareness. Whether they shot or not, can not be argued, they shot, all streams from the scene had sounds of gun shot and some showing lighting from the guns muzzle, this where not edited movies. We don't know the death toll, and i want you to know from the footage I saw dead bodies in the scene not less than two, and with the impunity our military has be swimming on for the past, the fact is that they especially, the chief Army staff and even the president himself, does not the implications of the crime of opening fire on protesters, 'so he will see no reason to brand them, as so called protesters'. In your whole time spent in Nigeria, have you ever heard the PMB mentioned the Fulani herds men as 'so called herds men', no, because he value them, and will probably nurture their wrong doing. You want the victims family to come out. Not everyone have families that care, and especially if such a family is not influential, what's the need of coming out to grieve about their lost in the protest. Most family kept saying we warned him/her against going to protest, we no send am there. Truth can't be hidden, Only wise man will understand, when you want to discredit the truth, you release many fake incidence attributed to the truth, which are expected to be debunked later, eventually, discrediting the truth along with the fake news. During the protest, politicians, stated hiring thugs to cause mayhem. They can also hire e-rats 1 Like 1 Share |

SmallmebigGod:so who will encourage them. You don't know the situation here, the Nigerian COAS Buratai see no shame in lying to you, it is religious to him, likewise PMB too, as long as it saves their image. So how can you be sure of safety. You may even speak out and they tag it fake news as usual. Nigerian army has been lying to the people of Bornu and the middle belt of their safety while they keep aiding the miscreants to continue their mayhem, 'ethnic cleansing', just like Danjuma acclaimed. |
