As Nigerians and politicians begin making permutations for the 2023 presidential election, many youths are taking positions against well-known names in the polity as candidates of either or of both major political parties.
Surprisingly, the same level of vehemence is being poured on the possible emergence of Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and PDP 2019 presidential running mate as with many other established politicians.
Many contended that Mr. Obi is not too different from established politicians like the former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
According to this school of thoughts, both Obi’s People Democratic Party (PDP) and Tinubu’s APC have failed Nigerians. As such, they don’t deserve the electorate’s attention in 2023.
Both Tinubu and Obi are leading contenders for the tickets of the two major political parties in the 2023 presidential election.
GWG brings some of the thoughts on their possible emergence:

IFA FUNSHO #ENDSARS@funshographix wrote: “So, you people have started the agenda of Peter Obi, Atiku, Tinubu and Seyi Makinde in 2023, I thought we all made a vow that we’re not voting APC and PDP comes 2023. The youth are already forgetting what they suffered in the hands of #EndSARS struggle. Una don dey lose focus.”
