Saturday, November 7, 2020 will surely be a day to remember as Orumba North and South join the Soludo Promoters Forum.

The official launch of the Forum , which has been dubbed "Operation Fantastic" will commence by 1:00pm prompt at the Orumba South Local Government headquarters, Umunze.

The Forum is a group of select prominent and distinguished personalities from the constituent communities in Anambra state with the aim of encouraging and supporting Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo to contest for the Governorship of Anambra state in 2021

Speaking about the event, the Convener, Sir Alex Okoli, a renowned medical laboratory scientist and chairman Oganiru Ndi-Igbo worldwide said the event is going to be the 'mother of all events' never witnessed before in Orumba.

According to him, there is going to be a massive gathering of elites from the Orumba extraction who are out to identify with the movement of the Forum.

"The Orumba event is going to be the 'mother of all events' never witnessed before in Orumba. It is going to feature the biggest gathering of the cream of elites in Orumba who have wholly identified with the SPF movement." Sir Okoli said

Sir Alex Okoli also revealed that everything necessary to make the event a huge success has been put in place. According to him, the logistics and other necessary arrangement are in top order

“All the sons and daughters of Orumba who will be gracing the occasion are assured of a memorable event that will be remembered for a long time to come." Sir Alex Okoli further said

Speaking in the same vein, Mr Joe Anatune, a leading communication expert and chief strategist/national coordinator of the Forum said the Orumba launch of the SPF is going to redefine elites' participation in democratic engagements and processes in Anambra state.

He added that Orumba is immensely blessed with outstanding sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves in various professional callings both within and across the globe.

"Operation Fantastic in Orumba is set to re-awake and completely redefine elites participation in our democratic engagements and processes in Anambra state. Indeed, Orumba is particularly blessed with great sons and daughters who are doing exploits in various professional callings within and outside the country." Anatune added

He also revealed the occasion will be used to unveil the Anambra Smart city plan which the elites are expected to support and be part of.

"We are therefore leaving no stone unturned to ensure we have a very successful event come Saturday, November 7, 2020." Anatune further said

Other Promoters/Facilitators expected to grace the event include Barrister Leo Chiegboka, Mr Andy Okafor and many others

It will be recalled that the Soludo Promoters Forum has been previously launched successfully in other local government areas in Anambra state, in Aguata, Anaocha and Idemili respectively.

In the coming days more local governments in the state are expected to join the Forum to add up the growing numbers of LGAs that have now wholly identified with the movement

That's good but I wish Prof Charles Soludo could become more relevant at national level.
I believe so strongly in him.
