Minimum Wage: Osun Workers Embarks On Street Walk To Appreciate Oyetola by YEAEMEDIA(f): 4:04pm On Nov 02, 2020
Osun workers on Monday took to the street to appreciate Governor Gboyega Oyetola and also paid a surprise Thank-You Visit to the governorat the State Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo, to appreciate him for fulfiling his promise to them.

Some of the workers were seen carrying placards with inscriptions such as: "Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, you are a promise keeper", "Oyetola, labour friendly Governor", "A new dawn to Osun State workers".

Recall that Governor Oyetola on Friday approved the implementation of the new N30,000 minimum wage for workers in the state. He also lifted the embargo on annual salary increment, promotion and conversion.

They shouldn't be celebrating this failure. The guy just duped the workers and most of them still doesn't know. The minimum wage system that the state adopted is a total waste of time. The state unions need to reject it as soon as possible.
