It's no more news that a large number of private and public properties were reportedly destroyed during the recent riots that ensued at the “tail” end of #EndSARS protests in Lagos state. Many government organizations were severely attacked by hoodlums that allegedly hijacked the initially peaceful #EndSARS protest and turned it into a full-blown riot. The Nigerian Ports Authority has now confirmed in new press reports that 60 of its vehicles were vandalized during these recent violent riots in Lagos.

Nigerian Ports Authority says many of its vehicles, equipment and infrastructures were vandalized during recent Lagos riots

According to press reports, these damages were specifically recorded at the NPA headquarters at the Tincan Island Port in Lagos. The details of the damages were reported by Jatto Adams, the GM of Corporate & Strategic Communications for NPA. Mr Jatto Adams’ report claims that more than 300 hoodlums attacked the NPA’s office building in Lagos between 20th and 21st of October 2020. The report also states that the hoodlums allegedly vandalized pieces of equipment and also set fire to more than 60 official vehicles of the NPA as well as part of its administrative building.

Mr Jatto Adams further revealed in his report that the attack of the so-called hoodlums was successfully repelled through the joint effort of Nigerian Custom Servicemen, the mobile police force and NPA police officers. While giving a record of damages, he said 27 vehicles including staff buses, pickup trucks, SUVs and executive cars were set ablaze by the hoodlums. Similarly, he revealed that 33 other cars were vandalized and 22 of those vehicles belongs to NPA staff members.

Below is a press video that captured the moment when the NPA office building was set on fire during the recent Lagos riots.

This is just too barbaric.
Nnamdi Kanu. May you never die well wherever you are hiding and sending your brainwashed pigs to be causing mayhem all over Nigeria and killing soldiers at Oyigbo.
Your end will be brutal and shameless kanu.
