Any candidate who wins a state by popular votes, even if by margin of 1 vote takes all the votes of the electoral college awarded that state (except in Nevada where it is shared). Texas has electoral college vote of 38. So Trump winning there gives him electoral college vote of the whole 38

no. OP said 538 people. These are not individuals. Electoral college vote is different from individual vote. Look at the map I posted.

Nevada doesn't share college votes. It's a winner takes it all in Nevada with 6 college votes.

Only 2 states share college votes among the candidates in proportion of their votes. Maine and Nebraska
