In the run on to the 2015 general elections, Tinubu and Sowore used their media platforms to bastardize Jonathan's govt. They made most undiscerning Nigerians think Jonathan was the worst President since human existence. The headline of most daily tabloid either reported Boko Haram killings or how Chibok girls were still in captivity. So much was the noise about Boko Haram that it was driven into our subconsciousness until we couldn't see the good side of Jonathan's govt anymore.

We could no longer see the fact that for four years consecutively, Nigeria's economy was among the top 4 fastest growing economies of the world, growing at 4% with only China, Indonesia and Mexico ahead. But the press told us to forget it. That they are mere paper percentages. Asking us the effect of it on our life.

But it was in Jonathan's era that Nigeria's economy overtook that of South Africa to become the biggest in Africa till date.

GEJ saw to it that power was privatized. And even though it's not yet Uhuru as regards power, those who have got prepaid meters are at least sure that they pay for what they consume and not the era of PHCN killing businesses with over bloated estimated billing system. And generally all over the country, power has improved.

In fight against corruption, it was GEJ who introduced IPPIS which led to the wiping out of thousands of ghost workers from govt payroll.

He introduced BVN which makes money traceable even to the 20th account. Now looters are scared of putting money in accounts. So also did he introduce TSA, though he didn't implement it. But the press told us that systemic fight against corruption was useless. They told us that Buhari's preferred use of brute and brush brigandocia was the best.

That was how majority agreed with the press and echoed "anything but Jonathan". And Jonathan lost. 5 years after, result has called itself and we daily rue our mistake of 2015.

What happened to us in 2015 is not different from what just happened to Americans. And the usual culprit, the press, has done it again. And it is drove hate for Trump to crescendo.

Trump has overseen a bubbling economy even in the midst of a global pandemic. Unemployment too has reduced to one of lowest rates in history.

Trump wanted America for Americans. Closing porous border with Mexico. Going against unfavorable terms of trade with China.

What most people don't know is that most companies that were in America packed up and went to China because of cheap labour only to ship back to USA at very low excise duty. That's what Trump doesn't like. That's why he imposed higher excise duty on Chinese goods which will make companies interested in American market to consider coming back to US as it would be more expensive to operate from China.

Take for instance the issue Buhari govt had with Benin republic and rice importation. Where tiny Benin Republic was the third largest importer of rice in the world with 98% of that rice destined for Nigeria through our land border free of charge. But these importers pay the import duty they would have paid to Nigeria to Benin Republic. That was bad business because Nigeria was losing big time. And that's why sane Nigerians, irrespective of political sentiments, applauded that Buhari's singular act of closing our land border. Now importers are forced to import through our ports and they pay their excise duty into our purse. That's good business.

It is the same thing Trump is doing with China as regards trade. And that's the genesis of the trade war with China. And it is also why dangerous Jewish capitalists like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates who have factories in China don't like Trump.

Now they've used the press against Trump until most Americans are echoing "anything but Trump". Majority of American press and the campaign strategy of the democrats has been "Covid covid covid” ( in Trump's voice). And like Trump said, after November 5th, you won't hear it again. Now most of the votes Trump lost is majorly because of what they tagged his "handling" of coronavirus with CNN at the forefront of lambasting every of his steps or missteps.

So, it was Boko Haram for GEJ. Now it's Covid for Trump. Both of them victim of the press.

But I hope it won't be for them like it has been for Nigerians.?

Don't you folks get tired of this hooey you keep recycling?

1. First it was Trump is the anointed one and Bide will NEVER be president. Same absolutes were said about Buhari

2. Now that cold defeat stares you in the face, we are hearing this fresh B.S from you about Americans making the mistake of Voting Biden.
a. Americans are not Nigerians and will NEVER be.

b. Every country's citizen have the right to vote whomever they choose and it's not your place more especially for the fact that you are not by any right an American to force their hands to vote whomever they want.

c. You and your conspiracy theorist in crime should stop trying to play God by claiming to know the future.

3. Every time I see folks keep throwing up this "we told you nonsense about Buhari", i feel you are missing the point by not realising the FACT that if we should go back to 2015 today, Nigerians will still vote out Jonathan because the realities then won't change. Take it or leave it!

There are forces that have an agenda for this world and Trump has been the one standing in their way.

The correct question is are Democrats about to make the same mistake Afonajs made in 2015? If you follow all the threads on Trump and Biden, you will notice majority of Igbos are for Trump and don't hide it. While majority of Afonjas are for Biden. Largely because Igbos are Republicans while Afonjas are liberals. Republicans tend to be very straightforward and upright like Igbos, while Democrats tend to be like Afonjas; deceptive and rely on propaganda.

Igbos warned Afonjas against voting for Buhari because Igbos knew nothing will ever come out of his administration. Afonjas insisted, used their media to smear and rubbish Jonathan like Mainstream media does to Trump and elected Buhari. Once again, Igbos are now warning you nothing good will ever come out of Biden, however same Afonjas are behind all the Biden promotion threads, even mocking IPOB for supporting Trump.

The thing with Igbos is they reason beyond emotions and tribalism, whether Trump blocks Iweala from heading WTO, that's not important, even though Afonjas are using it to claim Trump is racist(yeah better than you tribalists). What's important to Igbos is Trumps's policies and position on issues, those they identify with. Many Igbos sees themselves in Trump, they see Trump facing the same evil, lies, censorship and propaganda by fake media similar to the same they are facing from Ibadan-Expressway media.

They, especially the black community are about to find out. grin

Pre Dems era, black men and women were getting and staying married with some having up to 12 kids but today, we all know that's practically impossible.

Black men were doing well for themselves and working hard to survive until Dems came with their modern day slavery called welfare.

Since then till today, the black man's life revolves around welfare packages like food stamps, section 8, WIC, MediCal (for Californians) etc. Now, he only thinks of drugs, gangs and rap music.

So hell yea, the black man is about to find out. grin

I've been saying the same thing.

Remember when Trump blocked travel from China when Covid started?

Biden called the action xenophobic, the media called it racist. Palosi went to China Town without a mask and urged everyone to "come over", to spite Trump.

Now, the same people are saying he didn't do enough when the pandemic started.

The hypocrisy is everywhere.

What about how they have no video proof of Trump being racist, yet when you play 10 videos of Biden being hateful towards blacks, they just dismiss it.

How can Trump get Black Americans the lowest unemployment rate in History and be racist?

I even first heard about Trump back in my secondary school days, not from news or books, but from rappers, yes that's right, rappers.

Back then, every rapper would rap about Trump and giving Trump props, but as soon as he decided to go against the establishment, he became racist.

I just hope these guys are not making the same mistake. How can they vote a Biden that doesn't even know where he is half the time?

Even the latest news of Bidens sons shady dealings, published by a legacy newspaper like the Washington Post, got blocked on twitter.

The also blocked the post of everyone who tried sharing it, claiming, it wasn't gotten through legal means, sigh.

If only we knew tomorrow, we won't have voted buhari.

If only Americans know tomorrow, they won't vote biden.

This world is tribed and divided from the beginning, and behind the scenes, darkness and light are at war over 6000 years now.

Whether we accept or not, this American election is extremely pivot in world affairs and future.

As a Christian (it's my right, I don't need to be politically correct), I see Trump as a better candidate. But God's will be done after all is done physically.

I have a word for wise Christians and the world in particular.
Don't be afraid of the future, you know that before your salvation truly comes, Satan has already been evicted from heaven according to Revelations.

Also remember that we are at war for yourself soul and whatever happens, life in JESUS will triumph over death in sin. We are at war and if things don't go the way we hoped, it's because our Lord has a better plan than ours. He doesn't fail, neither can you.

That Nigeria is a shithole is none of your business,;God who fed over five thousand twice is your peace and destination.

Have peace and focus on your goal. FOCUS ON YOUR GOAL. (HEAVEN).

Don't be foolish virgins, don't get distracted, that problem you have cannot be solved by the government, but by the Almighty.

If you trust and follow the Lord, he can't leave you in hunger or frustration. But keep your soul first. KEEP YOUR SOUL FIRST.

Jesus also died to save all evil souls, including antichrist, atheists, witches, human traffickers, politicians, etc. He loves them and they may even get to heaven before you!.

Be focused. Keep your soul.

VaselineCrew:

If his actions was to be felt in America alone, I wouldn't mind.

But the ripple effect of his policy on all of the world is why we are shouting now.

Don't argue with liberals and Joe Biden supporters who gulp every nonsense the mainstream media dishes. Nothing Donald Trump does is ever good for them. They are led to see him as racist, sexist, divisive, xenophobic, homophobic, white-supremacist etc. In fact, they see him as the worst president in history despite compelling evidence. Not one of them can tell you with evidence how Trump is a racist and white-supremacist.

I stopped wasting energy engaging Democrat sympathisers and liberals when they demanded Kavanaugh's head over an laughable allegation without substance but did nothing over Biden's inappropriate acts with children and other allegations of sexual harassment against some democrats. You just can't argue with zombies of the mainstream media.

Trump is not a globalist but a nationalist. That's why you see him pulling America out of most global bodies he feels have no value to America. But Biden and his promoters are globalists.

So while Trump is interested in America and things that are of immediate consequence to America, Biden and his promoters are globalists who are interested in ruling the world and enforcing their dictates.

That's why Biden presidency will be felt more all over the world.
