The Lagos State Judicial Panel on SARS had to adjourn early this morning because the youth representatives threatened to boycot the panel's sittings due to the fact that the Central Bank of Nigeria had frozen the account of Rinu Oduala.


Rinu is one of the elected youth representatives at the panel and she is also one of the leaders of the End SARS protests, but the CBN had gotten a court order to freeze the bank accounts of leaders of the protest including Rinu.


Representatives of the Nigerian Army, the Lekki Concession Company, the government and End SARS protesters had already arrived before the sitting was adjourned.

Good for them. "Protesters" have no immunity against criminal investigations. If they boycott the panel, they have accepted loss by default.
They are probably thinking of mobilising another round of violence. I have seen some myopic one threatening protests as if protests were some kind of war.
If history teaches us anything, it is that the common people have little tolerance for economic saboteurs.
