Let every state make do with their governor so that we can easily match to any government house and throw him out if he's not doing what he's supposed to. And they won't start telling us that order came from above or from the underworld.

So social media regulation has become so important that some people can't sleep anymore? Yet they sleep when people are killed, they sleep knowing the people are dying of hunger, they sleep, knowing how much debt Nigeria is into, they sleep with the state of our hospitals, schools and roads.

They don't have work to do, this is a misplaced priority

Aaah, what is actually the problem with our leaders them self?

Cant they think of strategic ways to address citizen's issues instead of thinking about depriving citizens of the right to speak.

They want to set the south east leaders against their own people. When it is time to share money, they will forget south east. When they want to divide them further against their own people, the will set them as prawn and position behind. Eastern leaders can never learn from history.

Could it be said SW was the headquarters of fake news prior to 2015?.
Yes, it was. Opposition to GEJ involved many fake news. But the real question is how many of those news led to widespread violence?

That same regulation will be used to wipe them out. And they will not be able to ask the outside world for help. Only a fool will agree to this because the table has a way of turning on you. This regulation should be resisted by all sane humans. You may be in power today, but tomorrow this same law will be used to deal with you.

Ask Trump about his decisions that later cost him the elections and those same processes were used to defeat him. Power is transient. If you block social media and the youth/army rise against you, who will you call?

South eastern youths are the most useless youth in Nigeria presently.

Believe it or don't, they have endless set of people to stone but they are more concerned about inconsequential frivolities.

It didnt lead to violence because GEJ was reasonable enough and didnt decide to shoot at protesters of 2012 fuel hike like this dunderhead did.
